That bail amount is a joke $15,000 with having only to post 10% or less. They were out in an hour using one days profit of drug sales.

Smokin weed is no different than drinkin booze. Is someone going to try and tell me that a guy who smokes a joint is MORE under the influence than somebody who knocks down 3 jack & cokes and decides they want to play slalom with the Rt. 78 traffic? I think not.
I agree with some of the other posters here legalize it and tax it. If hopitals can give it to cancer patients why can't we all enjoy the benefits?
I read somewhere that smoking cigerettes is more addictive.

What a waste of money. Legalize it, regulate it, tax the hell out of it. The government make tax revenue, and stops wasting resources enforcing unenforceable laws. Plus, it puts lots of drug dealers out of business. Alcohol is MUCH more dangerous and legal.
Agree, except for extreme taxation (reasonable, yes) and alcohol being MUCH more dangerous. It is apples and oranges-
but I don't want a drunk or a wasted stoner driving- that is for sure.
BTW, I do not partake but know some fine people- well-educated, employed taxpayers- who do.

I would fight the charges on the digital scale and "packaging materials". I have a digital scale in my kitchen and I have LOTS of plastic baggies and I am not selling weed! lol.

I guess the 50 lbs of pot is what really got them in trouble though... lol.

The war on drugs is being lost. Legalize pot - it's less dangerous than alcohol!

Even though the bail amount is a joke their sentence will not. Being caught with that much reefer cause them to see jail time for sure. If any of them have prior records, longer jail terms.

Only the anti-semetic Allentown Morning Call would allow a name like yours for your post.

It's the way the police report was writen. Do you have another stupid comment?
They should just tax it and make it legal. The dealers would have to claim their income from it and get off welfare
If it was made legal there wouldn't be independent dealers. It would be controlled by the government smartass. So they would still have no income and still be on welfare
