But Gov. Jay Inslee insists there are ways to prevent the bulk smuggling of the state's newest cash crop into the black market, including digitally tracking weed to ensure that it goes from where it is grown to the stores where it is sold.

Who cares its not Washingtons fault other states are completely ignorant about marijuana and try their best to keep it illegal. Now they are crying like little babies that some marijuana will cross state lines. I guess these other states are going to have to change more taxes to pay for more cops and charge more taxes to lock up thousands more non violent people for smoking a plant.

Does the ignorance of prohibitionist ever end?

Now all the problems other states may face will be from washington pot... like its not everywhere already. a few extra ounces straying across the borders will be nowhere near the tons that already cross or already grown locally... The other states should stop whining and let us prove that the world wont end because those that smoke pot may not have to visit the corner dealer and be subjected to safety issues or having other crap like meth being pushed on them... wisen up people.

States that keep marijuana illegal create a huge black market for it. When marijuana's legalized like wine the black market will go and the drug dealers on our streets selling to our kids will go and all the stupid, pointless arrests will end.
