"That firing triggered a series of court battles to win back his badge, which ended this week with his reinstatement to the police department, shocking many of the force's rank and file."

I don't understand why the rank and file police officers would be shocked that the city lost another court battle. I know that I'm not shocked. How often do we hear of the city winning a court battle? Lobstergate, Queen Mary, Home Depot are a few high profile cases that the city has lost in the past year. Does anyone know of high profile cases that the City has won this year?

Just don't put his crooked ass on patrol in the Alamitos Beach area. The police response is so poor here now that we don't need more slackers! Police response in Belmont Heights and Belmont Shores is great...whiter areas of course!

Who will be this loser's partner once he's back on patrol? The 2nd most-hated officer on the force?

I believe their dad was a police officer, how humiliated he must be from what his sons have done! Nestor is going to have to move to some small midwest town to get away from this embarrassing moment once he completes his refresher training.

First off let me say to Pitbulls..t and STD (Fullerton CA) Do you really think anyone really cares where you want him to go? Do you think anyone really cares about some anonymous (scared) person writing about what they want? Be an adult and step up and use your real name or better yet why don't you go up to this Officer Ferguson (off duty) and tell him yourself about what you write about on the internet? Why not, I will tell you why because he is a Former Honorably discharged Marine and again a Police Officer in good standing with the city of Long Beach and these are the true facts of this case. If I were a resident of The Alamitos Beach area I would be demanding an investigation into this person cause according to his statement there are officers working that area that are "slacking" off in their duties. Also, according to his statement the police response time is "great" in the Belmont Shore areas because it is a "white area". I would imagine the community of Long Beach would want to know why white areas are getting better response time opposed to the Latino, Black or Asian areas.

Some people have nothing else better to do than complain against the police, oh well deal with it ... Also it is none of anybodies concern whether he will stay or not and leave his family out of this. You bleeding liberals wouldn't want your personal business discussed on the web nor behind your back

Its amazing for the ones that talk down on the weak. But lets look at reality on who the weak ones are. The weak are the ones who's self esteem is so low that they have to bring someone else down to feel better about themselves. I agree with lbpdpatrol, Nestor should be left alone. Until you have walked in his shoes one can not comment. Im surprised cops will talk bad about him here and in squad when he is not around but to his face will be "welcome back" "sue them" "I have your back". There are several cops that I can mention will quickly turn their backs on you. Lets face it..trust no one. no one cares about you. You have to fend for yourself.

Great! Just what we need, cops who get away with violating Citizens civil rights!

http://losangeles.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/pressre...

"The Civil Rights Division is committed to the vigorous enforcement of every federal criminal civil rights statute, such as the laws that prohibit the willful use of excessive force or other acts of misconduct by law enforcement officials. The Division has compiled a significant record on criminal civil rights law enforcement prosecutions. In Fiscal Year 2007, the Criminal Section convicted the highest number of defendants in its history, surpassing the record previously set in Fiscal Year 2006. During the last seven years, the Criminal Section obtained convictions of 53 percent more defendants (391 v. 256) in law enforcement prosecutions than the previous seven years. "

Now you've got another dirty cop, civil rights violator Donald Wood working Internal Affairs, be careful LBPD, if he wants your arse thrown off the force he'll do whatever it takes to do it.

Read what he did to a Long Beach Woman on behalf of his buddy, a long beach drug dealer who ran to the cops because he falsely claimed his x girlfriend was harassing him. He was doing it to himself with his x-con "business parter" in a successful attempt to FRAME her. Detective Donald Wood Lied to Judges to obtain search warrants, and arrest warrants, VIOLATING Civil Rights!

Read story here:
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/long-beach-ca...

then he comes on this web site to attack her and defend his lies.
If these Judges are allowing these dirty cops to violate citizens civil rights they should be removed from the bench.

Who's minding the store over there?

"If I had a dirty obsessed cop on my **** following me, tapping my phone, aiding and abetting a local con to advance his "career" and lying to judicial officers, while trying to ruin MY life, I'd be mad as hell too!
And if all that happened to YOU, I'm sure you'd be whistling a different tune"
Grissom, Not only has this happened to me but I am still living through this horrible nightmare that im going through. But..........
I look at the positive side of it and move forward with my life. No where in my heart am i seeking revenge on the Cop that ended my career. God hands you many obstacles in life. And like I said before "it is my opinion" to overcome these obstacles and be a winner. I dont need to be obsessed with trying to ruin someone else life. Don Woods will continue to be in your mind for ever until you beat him..Guess what if you havent won yet your not going to win ever.

Could this be John Pohl's stalker's attempt at retaliation against Detective Wood because he did a thorough investigation she was convicted?
Detective Wood lied. That's clear to everyone, everyone except the idiots in the Detectives division.

Who's stalking whom? Didn't he say he "drives past her house in the middle of the night"?.. why yes he did. Now what on earth is he doing driving past her house in the middle of the night?
Don't say he's going to work, he doesn't go to work "in the middle of the night" and you know it.

Pohl's the stalker. By the way he's also a wife beater, or did you overlook the THREE Restraining orders he has filed against him?

A thorough investigation? You mean like when you falsely accused her of sending email from her work when she was on vacation!!!

You're a fucking moron Wood!

Once again, she was set up, by a couple of thugs knee deep in illegal activity.

Or did you forget about the X-con business partner,(that's Convicted Felon to you) David Hadjes the guy who came to his defense professing to be a "computer expert" and from the CIA, probably what got him arrested for "Criminal Impersonation". Remember him? the guy who was actually sending his newly found sucker email so they could frame Pohl's x.

Thorough investigation? Why didn't you bother to check out where the email REALLY came from? Why? because it came from your false victim! I must hand it to you, your great at lying to judges.

Let's see just how good you can lie when your fake victim is finally put behind bars for all the illegal activity he's been doing once he's finally indicted. All in good time my little pretty. All in Good time.
