I could care a less about Robbins, il. Nobody there will vote. A lot of the few that do will vote for this prize because he "found Christ" so he's healed. But read his interview. He's been a mess his entire life. A drug addict, alcoholic, thief and a liar. He still uses the term "bro". He started like most kids smoking weed at 13. Pardon? Like most kids where? Acid? Speed? Coke? He wants to beautify Robbins. Robbins, Il. A joke to most people. A police department paid minimum wage. Oh, never mind.

I'm glad that he finally got his act together. But, unless I'm mistaken, it sounds like he's been convicted of at least one Class A misdemeanor offense. If so he is probably not legally eligible to hold elective office in Illinois. Maybe there is an attorney out there that can elaborate on this.

In addition, I also truly believe through Christ all things are possible. Through his testimony, Reese certainly can help the young people of Robbins avoid the mistakes that sidetracked his life.

I was mistaken. He's eligible. It has to be a felony conviction. Good luck, maybe he is what Robbins needs.

Do you know that Robbins is a place of debt, decay, debris, dropouts and drug addicts? There are no resources and qualified candidates, except ATTORNEY REESE. He could have left and never looked back, but He wants to use his LEGAL EDUCATION to help Robbins. Obviously, since he got his LAW LICENSE BACK they TOOK HIM through a SERIOUS PROCESS. Alot of the people in Robbins have serious problems, but they can be INSPIRED and LED by a Person of STRONG CHARACTER.

When you walk in the Light with Jesus you have no shame! Your rebirth requires you to help somebody else. Attorney Reese could have taken his family and left. He chose instead to let everybody know he has a PAST. Everybody has gone or will go through something. He went through Hell and obviously got it together since he is active in the practice of law. Jesus is the only perfect person. Attorney Reese has found Christ and IT SHOWS!

All of the candidates have been in office, except Derrick Reese, Esq. Under their leadership Robbins has received the highest waterbill, high tax bill, reckless police dept., lawsuits, no funds used for development, no businesses, and trash everywhere. Reese brings determination, high education, commitment to facing and overcoming difficult challenges, active law practice. Robbins has a chance snag a Gladiator to fight for it. Think before you vote for a person who does not get results versus a person that is tenacious, committed and gets results.

If a lawyer is Disbarred then he can never practice law again. No such thing as "formerly" disbarred. Recovering drug addict huh, sounds so sensational when the lawyer obviously is sober and successfully completed rehabilitation in,order to have been reinstated. Also the article leaves out the LLM he received from Loyola University and that he is an American Bar Association Scholar. And that he shares his story at the Hines VA alcohol & substance abuse program. And that his Wife holds,a Juris Doctorate. And that Reese has been Sober for years!...Great that Reese Speaks Up for Himself, but I Smell a Dirty Political Angle on how his personal info that has been resolved by the Attorney Disciplinary Commission was written with such detail, but alot positive info was conveniently left out. Mudslinging used to Distract the voters was the point of that reporter.

It's a darn disgrace how trash is in every crevice and corner on almost every single street in Robbins. There is no way that Simon, Ward & Bradley should Mayor! These officials have been given years to improve Robbins and obviously they have failed terribly. The People should be thrilled they have a chance to vote in a new leader!
