I'm glad to see a lot of these criminals finally get arrested. Sad thing is a lot of them will just get out after they rat on someone else.
High hopes

Only low level folks get into trouble, and that's only if they take business away from the governments sale of illegal drugs! It's all just a scam. People think they are getting over on the man, not realizing in the 50's gov decided to institute drug sales, food stamps expanded welfare just to maintain control over the lower class masses. Take this money just enough to survive on and stay quiet, and it has worked beautifully. Lower class stays right where the government wants them to stay dumb and poor.

The headline is misleading. It says drug roundup, it does not say anything about the sellers or buyers.

Yeah, just gotta mess with your head.

Wonder why every other county listed publicly who was arrested but Raleigh co . Maybe because they will all be on the streets again by weeks end doing the same thing . All counties but here have done major busts with thousands of dollars and drugs to show for it . Not one big drug dealer has been brought in the county and nothing major seized to display . In a county where drugs are being stole from the evidence room and dealed how serious do they think the public is taking this .

No no no....what happens is if an individual gets busted with drugs, they bring the person in, try to get them to snitch on their sellers, then they are LET GO. That's right, they are allowed to WALK THE STREETS FREE until they have one of these "drug sweep" dates, then they go BACK and re-arrest all of the people they just busted months before, like it was all some kind of long term investigation! I guess they do it for the headlines

FYI Raleigh county did list the names. They are in today's paper. I do agree they arrest them give them the option to roll on someone or take the fall. It's just unfortunate that the doctors handing out prescriptions like candy. Will never be arrested. I'm 6 years I've seen only 2 doctors arrested. But after their arrest no word of anytime they may have got. Look at BCPD employees smacked on the hand & let go. Funny magistrate Peck set these people's bond. When her son was the Probation officer fleeing police. Not long ago.

What is the difference between a federal arrest and a regular arrest . Just noticed a lot of these were federal arrest . Does this mean that the Feds are here to clean this mess up . Need to get a few of these doctors too that are the main dealers in this pill mill crap . Pain clinics are just doctors writing prescriptions instead of finding the actual problem be it medical or addiction and treating it . Lots of affluent people in this area are making a fortune off the sale of these pills . It's corruption at its best and no one in this are are going to do anything about them . Plain and simple

generally fed prosecutors take large cases or cases involving crimes committed in several states or involving agencys from several states..they don't make a federal case out of someone selling a few pills or some weed

I am glad to see any of them get arrested and off the streets. These people don't care about their kids or anything else! It's sad they see loved ones get killed for selling drugs and they still continue like it meant nothing! I hope CPS removed their kids and even if they are not booked maybe losing something will help them realize how crazy this a is!

if you notice the drug bust was in beckley. if beckley did not do drug busts, their would never be any in raleigh co. tanner got rid of the drug unit and now they never do drug round ups out in the county.

If you didn't notice it was Beckley RCPD and US Marshall's. Every one yells about what the cops don't do. Yet no one in our community gets involved. Have any of you ever called the law with proof someone 'is buying or selling drugs? I've lost many love ones to drugs. I myself am guilty of not turning them in. Hey at least they would be in jail and not dead. This isn't something the cops alone can combat it will take the society as a whole standing up. Turning people in showing that we will not stand for this anymore
