This isnt right at all! How are kids supposed to feel safe when being told what to wear, say, and do when its not there place. Yeah if a kid is smokinh crack and stuff then yeah they need help. I see soooo many kids getting expelled for trying harmless things.

Parochial schools are not public, so take your kid to evsc then, but unless signature has an open spot, we all know you won't. You said if a kid is smoking crack and stuff they need help, but also say it isn't right, all in the same paragraph lmao public education at its finest

I think it's great. Drug use at Mater Dei is HORRIBLE. Patents spending a fortune for their kid to go there and it's a nonstop orgy:drug party.

The parents pay for these kids to go to school there, so it should only be the decision on ppl that pay for their children to go to them schools. If your not paying tuition at one of these Catholic schools it really shouldn't be your decision. If the Catholics have to do it, public school should of been doing it.

The public school kids are doing it just as bad, the public school kids are the ones supplying the drugs to the rich kids. I bet in everyone of them parties theirs an underage drug dealer from public school selling drugs just like they daddy is to the older rich white ppl

You are so ignorant. I have had one in public school and two in catholic. The catholic school kids are worse because they can afford the drugs with daddy and mommies money. Not only that mommy and daddy usually donate money to the school if johnny has gotten in trouble.

I know for a FACT there are several drug dealing students at Mater Dei right now . It is by far not "evil" public school kids tricking private school kids into taking drugs .

Uhhh no your ignorant!!! That's dumb as hell!!! Public schools have kids who live right in the middle of the drugs. They make it for the rich kids or their parents do!!! Nothing you could even say to change that. It's the way it is. The only reason it's saying catholic schools only is because yes they can afford the drug tests unlike the public schools!

You trying to insult my intelligence for stating my opinion shows me all i need to know about you. Did you have drug tests in your school? If not then hoe was it. Did you make it out okay? Did you end up a washed up "druggie" as people would put it.

For every 1 person at md who smokes pot there's 20 at reitz or castle. And newsflash
They are not all rich. Trust me lol I know mater dei kids and Memorial kids living at the trailer park. And I know reitz central and castle kids driving BMW and brand new cars and snorting coke. Take your classest pc butthurt somewhere else

I totally agree. I've known kids to go to mater dei that live right in the ghetto. Doesn't mean they acted like it though and raised very well. Drugs are in every school!!

Both of you are wrong... every school, public or private, has its good and bad kids. And both types of schools have drug dealers and drug abusers. And no, the reason public schools don't test isn't because they can't afford it, it's because public schools legally don't have the right to do so. Whereas private schools make you sign a contract when enrolling your child (this contract takes away just about all of your child's rights). I personally disagree with the drug testing of students in any school, public or private. I think the school systems need to stop trying to do a parents job (by force, might I add) and mind their own business. Worry about what students do on your watch/school property, past that, it's no ones business but that child's parents. Besides, if you start testing for one drug that all the kids are using, they'll just settle for another, more dangerous and less researched one.
