so 90 millon tones of water plus the weight of the Dam wall and all its other items of weight on 7000 sq meters of land. That means the water will exert 12,857 tons on every square meter of soil? Which it has been proven would mean a great likely hood that earthquakes will happen? Google Dams causing Earthquakes and read the reports??? Go on do it and then stand up and fight to stop the greedy money hungry buggers! Its our water not theirs?
Please read what Chief Seattle wrote in 1853....
This shining water that moves in the streams and rivers is not just water but the blood of the Land.
The rivers are life, they quench every things thirst. Not just yours!
The rivers hold fish and feed the land. If we sold you our Rivers, would you remember to teach your children that the rivers are our life - and yours, and you must give the rivers the kindness you would give to any brother.
You might as well expect the rivers to run backward as that any man who is born a free man should be contented when penned up and denied liberty to go where he pleases. We only ask an even chance to live as other men live.
We the people must make a stand for whats ours! SOME THINGS ARE NOT FOR SALE.....
