The catholic church has executed more people than all the countries of the world. Their sect continue to hide and support pedophiles throughout the world. What a bunch of hypocrites

Saw this comment concerning the faults of the Catholic Church .... The Catholic Church has long left God years ago .. there may be certain dedicated individuals like the Sisters and many good Priests but all in all the Church has governed itself with it's own rules and many have suffered because of it .. They go by the Catholic Doctrine and not by the Scriptures .. I know because I lived it .. again, many in the Church are good, but they are good DESPITE the Church, not because of it. Power hungry and far less than humble .. and people are finally starting to get wise to it .. and they are leaving it in droves

Let's see 50 to 75 million alone during the Inquisition. That is more than all the men and women killed in wars since then and executed.
Over 4000 priests and deacons in the US alone charged with pedophilia and the church turns a blind eye as well as still supports and houses many in their retreats around the world.
There is no cure for pedophilia so having these men free is endangering the society the live in.

So do have any credible historic reference regarding:

The Catholic Church executing "more people than all the countries of the world."

I thought I mentioned _credible_ historical references.
I don't know where you pulled those numbers from but it wasn't a credible source.

The Spanish Inquisition was the largest and it was controlled by the Spanish Crown.

Most scholars agree on around 125,000.

So... you don't like my question, and bring up the abuse scandal instead? As horrible as any kind of abuse is, it is not an execution.

Prayer (people talking to themselves) is the first stage of schizophrenia.
