In Dallas we have a DA,(his name escapes me at the moment) he is running DNA test on old crimes, where eye witnesses were the ones that put men in jail (many of these people are men of color) I support what he is doing as this is a big problem. I also support this being done for people no matter what their color. Like you, I support the execution of the 'people" in this case! It amazes me how such people who commit such evil on innocent girls whine about mercy when it is time to pay for their crimes. The IDEA that an injection is inhumane, is an outrage. If memory serves one or more of them bragged about having virgin blood on him/them.

In three days on August 5th justice will be served after 15 years. Medellin is scheduled to be executed. He is making the last minute pleas like every condemned prisoner. He and his friends did not listen to their victim's pleas What makes him think the Supreme Court should listen to his?
What this man did was one of the most horrible crimes I have ever read. They make the Manson family look like Sunday School kids. Medellin and his friends deserve the death sentence. I do hope God shows mercy on his soul that they denied the young girls they killed.

I don't think so. Do you even know what these men did? Google Jose Medellin and read about their crime. I don't care what color they are, they deserve the punishment they were given. One even bragged about the virgin blood he had on him.
Why try to make it a race issue? Everyone talks about how Texas executes more criminals than any other state. This includes whites.

These beautiful, innocent young girls were subjected to the most brutal gang rapes that most of the investigating officers had ever encountered. There was never less than 2 men on each of the girls at any one time and that the girls were repeatedly raped orally, anally and vaginally for the entire hour. Then they were dragged into a wooded area, Jenny was strangled with a belt until it broke and they used her shoelaces to finish. Medellin later complained that "the bit*h wouldn't die" and that it would have been "easier with a gun". Elizabeth was also strangled with her shoelaces, after crying and begging the gang members not to kill them.
This thug Medellin had his day in court. I applaud the state of Texas for not backing down to world pressures.
The great state of Texas will see to it that justice is served for these two beautiful girls.
