Tennessee's Supreme Court has ruled that convicted killer Krista Pike can continue to fight her death sentence.

this is crazy, I just saw a show call Women on Death row...and she was on it....the murder she committed was HORRIBLE. She slashed the poor woman to death with a box cutter i think, and tortured her pretty much and then her satanist boyfriend carved a pentagram onto her chest. If that doesnt deserve the death penatlty i dont know what does. I feel sorry for the poor mother who just wants closure.

This isn't about closure or sympathy for the victims; it's about the limits of the legal process, and the Supreme Court quite properly has the final say in this matter. When faced with the brutality of the many crimes that are committed, it's hard to resist taking on a "hang 'em high" attitude, but if we are to have a death penalty at all, it must be carried out carefully and judiciously. We must be patient.

She deserves to die. I watched a documentary on Women on Death Row. This ugly heffa has no remorse, and calmed explained how she cut the girl up,(while she pled for her life) then proceeded to bashed her skull in and watch the "gray matter" come out of her skull Someone like that CANNOT be rehabilitated and should suffer a long painful death. Just like Colleen Slemmer did. Fry her ass, I say!!!!!

Sounds like you are for what the Muslims do in the middle east. Your daughter is r*ped so you sons get to r*pe the sister of the accused. Some merit for stopping things I would agree, but I don't think we really want that in our society.

You should be careful to avoid using the phrase "final solution" as is has an historical context that to many minds will completely erase all credibility from your posts.

Yes. Hitler's Nazi regime referred to the system of death camps for Jews and other "undesirables" as their "Final Solution," and for that reason the phrase carries a connotation of genocide.

I was living in Knoxville at the time of the murders and used to jog that trailpath where the murder took place. Was there just one murder victim ? I seem to remember several attacks over a few months.

When I found out about this 10-12 yrs ago, I was in shock. I took the newspaper to my boyfriend at the time which was her ex right before we started dating. He told me she was a nut (he lived with her in NC her home state). I went to this girl's house while she was dating my future ex husband and kissed him in her kitchen and we left together. I thought that could have been me. I thought nothing of her and wasn't scared. I was accuatally going to go fight this girl. She was very petite and didn't look threating, who would have thought. I do know she told her friends she didn't want to go back because she had problems with Colleen and knew something was going to go down, but I guess noone took it seriously. I also lived with her best friend 2yrs ago and read a letter from her, it was bizzare. She had a picture of another girl she tried to kill while on death row in the letter. They had put her in a cell with another girl on death row she had problems with and she took the string out of her pants and choked the girl almost to death with it and this was a big girl. I think she's pure evil and doesn't have a contience. She was very much into Charles Manson and wore shirts with him on them. I have never disclosed this and wanted to get it off my chest.

Where do you come up with BS like that? All the writer/poster said was that she should be handed over to the victims family so that they could deal with her. Not once did I read where the writer wanted to punish Krista's family. JUST KRISTA!
