Gov. Jerry Brown took to the airwaves Friday in defense of the state's controversial high-speed rail project -- with a pretty sweeping statement.

So while the elite Hollywood set jet around the world and drive their Porches the rest of us plebs in Brown's Utopian vision are forced to ridein19th century trains to nowhere.
