What about the families living in the area? Is it true all the City Council offered them was to pay $50 to stay at the Lafayette Park Hotel? This area is unsafe and the City has done NOTHING to help those families with babies and kids to relocate. Families went without water and power, and now they must endure crews working 24 hours in front of their house. Perhaps the City of Lafayette should consider the well being of their residents before they beg the State for help.
