Do you really think this Mr. Tribble, cares about Cuba?
I wouldn't be so eager to make friends with the employee of a country that has saddled you with a 50-plus-year-embargo.
Even a poison snake won't bite you until you do something that annoys it.
Don't think that 'Regime-Change', is not extremely close to the top item in his thought process,(or his bosses', who reside only 90 miles away from Cuba)! The word Terrorists' comes to mind for me, in my humble opinion. Be very, very, careful!

unfortunately Castro's Cuba is an island prison run by a selfish and self serving ruthless communist dictator it sucks there.
