You're looking for any excuse to claim it is going to be violent, when there is nothing to indicate. Instead you'd rather infringe on not only their Second Amendment, but their First as well. All because you are anti-gun.

If 5,000 Muslim American announced that they were going to take up arms and march to the Capitol to peacefully protest, would you support their Right to Bear Arms as well?

BTW - While you may consider me "anti-gun", I don't. I own a Mossberg 12 gauge pump, a Winchester Model 94, a Remmington Semi-automatic .22, and a Knight .45 caliber in-line muzzleloader. I just don't think it is wise to allow thousands of armed people to march upon our Nation's Capitol. Heck, for all we know, half of them might not even be American citizens.

Disarming Realities: As Gun Sales Soar, Gun Crimes Plummet

A couple of new studies reveal the gun-control hypesters’ worst nightmare…more people are buying firearms, while firearm-related homicides and suicides are steadily diminishing. What crackpots came up with these conclusions? One set of statistics was compiled by the U.S. Department of Justice. The other was reported by the Pew Research Center.

According to DOJ’s Bureau of Justice Statistics, U.S. gun-related homicides dropped 39 percent over the course of 18 years, from 18,253 during 1993, to 11,101 in 2011. During the same period, non-fatal firearm crimes decreased even more, a whopping 69 percent. The majority of those declines in both categories occurred during the first 10 years of that time frame. Firearm homicides declined from 1993 to 1999, rose through 2006, and then declined again through 2011. Non-fatal firearm violence declined from 1993 through 2004, then fluctuated in the mid-to-late 2000s.

And where did the bad people who did the shooting get most of their guns? Were those gun show “loopholes” responsible? Nope....

I think you and I both asked this question yesterday and neither of us got a reply, well you did, from me. I even asked who thought the NRA would support them?

That's an interesting question. Another question is would the NRA support 20,000 AMERICAN Muslim's in a peaceful protest in their right to bear arms? Most American Muslim are natural born citizens and most are black. So that would freak out the right wing hate groups.

Having said that, if 20,000 Muslim Americans were planning to arm themselves and peacefully march into DC. Piggy would be worried, we've had several Muslim extremist already prove that they're all willing to act on US soil, whether they were citizens or not. Dude, Muslim extremist have declared Jihad on America and are attacking us and most of the Islamic world backs them in the very least by doing nothing to help stop this war.

As far as me even thinking these "FrightWingNuts" are going to try to march on DC, I just don't see it happening. Their kind, that actually do act in real life, rather than rant on their puter all day about revolution and other nonsense. Are few and far between and I never heard of any of them donning a suicide vest or driving a bomb rigged automobile into something. They are they McVeigh type and like I said, "They are few and far between."

Entelodonts, sometimes nicknamed hell pigs are an extinct family of pig-like omnivores endemic to forests and plains of North America, Europe, and Asia from the middle Eocene to early Miocene epochs, existing for approximately 20.9 million years.

So the Mayan's and others romped in the mangers waiting for the three wise men? Would you like to talk about Santa or Mermaids next?

Let’s do a rough calculation to show how this works. The age of the earth can be estimated by taking the first five days of creation (from earth’s creation to Adam), then following the genealogies from Adam to Abraham in Genesis 5 and 11, then adding in the time from Abraham to today.

Adam was created on day 6, so there were five days before him. If we add up the dates from Adam to Abraham, we get about 2,000 years, using the Masoretic Hebrew text of Genesis 5 and 11.3 Whether Christian or secular, most scholars would agree that Abraham lived about 2,000 B.C.(4,000 years ago).

So a simple calculation is:
5 days
+~2,000 years
+~4,000 years
~6,000 years

At this point, the first five days are negligible. Quite a few people have done this calculation using the Masoretic text (which is what most English translations are based on) and with careful attention to the biblical details, they have arrived at the same time frame of about 6,000 years, or about 4000 B.C.

Thrashed? Not at all. What facts have you put forth? Nothing but the opinions of some old men from the 17th and 18th centuries. Hardly convincing.

By the way, I fail to see how my owning a few guns makes me a hypocrite since I am in full support of people owning guns if they so choose.
