I completely agree with the travel blogger here. He was railroaded by airline personel who fed off eachother's innacuracy of facts.
I understand the urgency in avoiding a protracted back and forth volleying of incident facts, but considering the severity of the allegation the captain should have at least considered the bloggers plea that the F/A was inacurate in her assesment.
Furthermore, a healthy dose of "situational awareness" was in order here so as to prevent the escalation and complete alienation of a potentially valuable and loyal flyer.
I welcome your viewpoints.
