Like I said Ed is NOT a good person at all. He is an awful father and was an awful husband. This is what jimbob had going for him. He has reasonable doubt going for him. Common sense leads us to who was acting the most erratic at the time of this brutal crime. This brings us to JV.
This was the theory advanced by Paula Walsh on 20/20 (Stacey's friend from MA.) it does help protect Ed and that is the current strategy. I think thats called stockholm syndrome or just being from Mass.

Jamie Vittum. Let me be clear I absolutely want justice for this beautiful woman. I am glad you are finally acknowledging yourself on this site. I understand your defense of Jim. You have two beautiful children you need to protect. Please do tell me you have not had your doubts about Jim's innocence. I shoot down all the rumors when people say you were involved. I do not believe you would ever go that far. I base my information not so much on facts as on Jim's behavior in the days years after her death. Stacey deserves the truth to come out. Her family deserves the truth. I never said in any of my posts that Stacey did not trust Jim. She did. That is what makes this so sad. She relied on him almost to a fault. She probably led him on in many ways. He in turn couldn't let her go. I understand you wanting to protect your kids. You need to dig deep Jamie.

Finally acknowledge myself on this site? As I stated I rarely come on this site for obvious reasons and when I do I just read some truly ignorant comments. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR...My defense of Jim has absolutely nothing to do with protecting my children. My defense of him is based on absolute fact alone and nothing else. Please do no "shoot down" any rumors on my behalf. I' m way past taking what people say her anonymously or behind my back to heart. Jim's behavior in the days and years since Stacey brutal murder? Are you serious? Someone you love and care about is murdered and a cloud of suspicion hangs over your head due to small town rumor and speculation? It has changed a lot of people. She probably lead him on? Ya Think? Phone records will show who was calling who. Have you seen them? He couldn't let her go? Now Stacey was a nice gal, but like most, not a gal a man couldn't. Live without. Come on. You really are gonna have to do better than that. Lets reveal ourselves. Acknowledge ourselves on this site. Level the playing field so to speak. Come on now. Put your big girl/boy panties on.

"There is nothing so uncommon as common sense" Waldo Emerson. Jim had nothing to gain from Stacy's death and everything to lose. He was staying with his ex wife and children on the night of the murder. A person that violently kills does not show up at the murder scene less than 8 hours later volunteering to have their life dissected. A person that loses it enough to kill doesn't regain their composure immediately after and leave no trace behind. A person like this would have a long history behind them. Hanging out Jim Vitum for this murder in print reeks of a cover-up. I applaud you Jamie Vitum for sticking by Jim. There is far more to this story then people know.

The "cover up" is only to protect the family from Ed. Can you imagine your loved one is murdered and then the AAG involved (Jeffery Strelzin Concord N.H.) tells you he can't make the arrest yet. Your forced to either play along w/ the lie and continue to produce narcissist supply for a psychopathic killer or NEVER see your grandchildren. Stacey's brother from TX. having never met me was the perfect spokesmen to point the finger away from his extremely dangerous and sick brother in law.The police have done a good job (w/ the exception of Scott Gilbert) planned and well executed premeditated murder is the most difficult to solve, but I still expect they will. Joe Foster (the NEW AG) is not 'limp wristed' and has no political ambitions. I HOPE.

Jamie how can you know who did it? Who do you think it was and why? What was found in that dufflebag? We're there any footprints? I have a bar time believing it was Ed because I don't think the police would allow the kids to stay with him. I have a hat time believing it was Jim because I don't think he would go there the next day. I have been following this case for years and I'm trying to piece it together. I do hope very much that the people duke southward wants to talk to answer his questions so he can move forward with his book.

There WAS a custody fight in the first week ! Ed won !! He wasn't "given" the kids. They are HIS !!?(it took 4 years to remove them)The first night Ed was alone w/ them the two oldest ran away after a physical altercation between Ed and his son. After Ed issued an A.P.B. on them "we" took them to the police station where the children were told by authorities that they were to return home and obey THEIR father.(the son split for good when he became 18 and now after Ed was arrested for abusing a daughter(it took a serious injury) they are all away from their mothers killer) No one knows ANYTHING about the investigation, everything is rumor and speculation. The ONLY word came last month from the lead detective in an interview w/an Arizona news paper. This man Edward Burns is to be treated very carefully,he is AGAIN near the end of his rope and like a good psychopath is extremely dangerous.

? I don't get it?? Anyways I'm glad you're on his forum. I have several questions for you. Maybe you can help clear up some of the rumors.
1. Is the key club real or is it just a rumor?
2. Where is Ed burns now?
3. Who are the suspects in this murder?
4. If Ed didnt do it then who do you think did?
5. Why doesn't the Thor guy want to talk to anyone?
6. What was I the dufflebag that was found?
I think that's all I have for now

I was pretty close to Stacey in 07 - 08 She had some secrets for sure but just knowing the way she was w/ me I don't believe she could have ever been involved in anything kinky. Having said that if there does turn out to be a 'key club' it will be that "cocktail bunch" Eric Thor and co.2- I can't be watching Ed,A judge ordered me to stay away, however last I knew he was in Millis Ma. 3 suspects, Just me and Ed. Stacey didn't have any enemy's, maybe a few women who were jealous of her zest for life and natural beauty.#4 I know for absolute certainty Ed planned and set up her house in the week before, postponed his appeal date to that new date,(the day after the murder) took his 3 little girls to Stacey's moms (they slept w/ Stacey) made the alibi video (the only video he EVER took) left Boston at 1:45, and headed north. Stacey was killed around 4am(Roland said) he was back in Boston at 6:30. Thor is a man whore and IF there were drugs in Stacey he put them there. He is hiding under a rock. Strelzin (AAG) said the 'bag' had nothing to do w/ Stacey's murder. The night before her murder Stacey told me "he's up to something" she knew him and knew when he was up to something. No one really believes this can happen until it does, even then it feels unreal. He had beaten her down so bad for so long she had given up.WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN AND BEEN READY.

Maybe Ed hasn't been arrested because a hearing will expose the truth. Maybe crimes were being committed against Ed that would make it impossible to obtain a conviction. Maybe Stacy's murder is connected to other murders including Roberta Miller's murder and the recent Exeter murder. Maybe there is a 3rd person with evidence that these murders are connected. Maybe this is a cover-up worthy of historical significance. Maybe I have an over active imagination and am a conspiracy theorist. Maybe the truth is just too big a pill to swallow.

From what I have learned from Strelzin (the AAG involved w/ this case) and Gilbert (the lead detective on this case) the biggest reason they are allowing Crazy Eddie to walk free after murdering his x wife and hospitalizing his child is because 1, the family are NOT demanding an arrest and 2, more is better, just sinse the murder Ed has had his house surrounded and been the subject of a 2 hr. police stand-off,(for threatening his mother) been in court once for OUI,once w/ me,once w/ the 'new' woman (he bugged her bedroom) three times fighting for Stacey's estate money and life ins, twice for child abuse and he did a paid 2 hr. interview w/ ABC.(for 20/20) Everything he does and says sinse he killed Stacey WILL be admissble in court. He is a coward and will NEVER take the stand. All this exposure will allow the jury to see who he is while he sits in court looking like a sweet little church going profession, highly intelligent merchant marine. And the last and biggest reason AG.Joe Foster doesn't have Edward Burns arrested is he knows better than I that his boy's are incompetent losers and it's better to never fight than fight and lose. Welcome to N.H. where over 120 murders are unsolved.
