Doesn’t the economic strength of the nation as a whole (or lack thereof) play a larger part in the growth of Pine Island road? We keep dumping money into infrastructure so we’re ready for the next big economic boom but right now we’re caught in the ignorant decisions of city council that is more likely contributing to our doom.

54 million dollars? are you kidding me..that stretch of road they plan on changing doesnt need a change. that road is fine if drivers just drive patiently. i could of probably hired a contractor to do it for less money if not half and it would of been done already whats the hold up? someone is making money surely isnt I.

How about more for our not repaving chiquita 160 yds then leaving 20yrds of old road way, maybe its just me but when you do something you do right not half @$$. I purpose we get rid of these 4way stop signs put flashing yellow and red lights and make it a free for all! then i can enjoy some real entertainment:)

I love watching the people at four way stops, they look like they're trying to figure out a rubiks cube.
