Gay rights?
I'd say Gay's have MORE rights than just about anyone else.
No you can't legally marry, but outside of that what can't you do?
I don't give a dang what you do in your bedroom, but don't get in my face and tell me what I am to accept about you or not. You don't have to be out proudly proclaiming to the world that you're gay, no one gives a shat. The more you shove it down people's throat's ( Pun intended ) the less support you are going to get. Put the signature pad down, pull your pants up and get back to work and be a productive member of society.
Really? Tell it to the people who lose jobs because they are GLBT. Or the ones denied access to housing. Or the ones whose families are unprotected. I'm sure they would appreciate your views on the subject. And for the record, we don't give a damn if you "accept" us or not. All we want are the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities as all other Americans. Your "acceptance" is not expected or required, as in the larger scheme of things, your "acceptance" is of no merit one way or the other.

So...the gays seem to, let's say, "balance out" overpopulation by not reproducing. Must be Natural Selection: Works for me.

We keep making gays in about the same percentage of our population. Always have, always will.

I'd agree with the natural part...

So it seems that you are asking/expecting/requiring acceptance by saying "all we want," right? And who do you want this acceptance from?

And the gays make...what? By saying "we" I assume you mean heterosexuals, right?

No, that is not right. You missed the point completely. Re-read, try again.

Yes. heterosexuals are the ones that make babies. Is this getting over your comprehension level?

Acceptance is not required of anone, actually. Rights are not determined by acceptance in this country, but rather by Constitutional mandate. Acceptance is generally seen as approval of ones' being or actions. A right exists for a person or persons, regardless of whether or not their being or actions are accepted. For instance, interracial marriage did not exist, and was not approved of, but the USSC ruled that the right existed. Same with GLBTs. We have the rights, we are just barred from excersizing them, but that will change.

You mean the "All we want..." has no relevance on asking for acceptance--even though the person who wrote it said we don't care about acceptance, huh?

Obviously, it seems that the gays can't figure it out--even yourself, woodtick.

Hey, extinction by sexual preference isn't so bad. You're born gay, you live, never reproduce and then you die--except that the hetero's reproduce. Hey, even wood ticks reproduce. Been going on for millions of years. Have a happy lifestyle, woodtick.

Again, no. As i quite clearly typed the first time it is heterosexuals that keep making gay children. That will not stop happening.

I have a very happy lifestyle, thank you.(I'm sure it's quite different than your preconceived notions, tho...)

As pointed out far too many times now, Homosexuals are not in any threat of extinction, as they are continually being made by heterosexual couples.

It would be interesting to read the California law that this judge interpreted to mean that Target's property is really public property. Target should have control of their property at all times. It seems they cannot in California. Why don't groups approach people for their opinions on public property like parks, sidewalks or government centers?

I suppose this means the Salvation Army can ring their bells and collect donations at California Target stores without permission from Target.

From what I gleaned from another conversation on this topic, the parking lot itself is considered public. I do not know if this is true in MN or if it would hold true if the Target store were stand alone.(not in a shopping plaza)

This really seems to be targeting Target for their donation to one political group that backed one loser. Very stupid in my opinion. The director of this group should be sacked and replaced with someone that has an understanding of good marketing practices.

It isn't only California law. Most states have public forum doctrines that essentially provide for free speech on private land that if held out as public property. Target encourages the public to use its land and as a result, its land is effectively treated as public space akin to parks, sidewalks and government centers at least for first amendment free speech issues.

And your stand on plural marriage is?
