WalMart is killing all of our local shops. I dreaded them moving in here, and an expansion is suicide, not to mention wasteful. How many grocery stores do we have here, hmm? Enough for two towns, I think.

If we had enough stored for two towns then don't you think some would close due to lack of sales?? Gosh some people are just retarded...

People need to check what they buy at WalMart. They keep advertising they are lowering prices, mostly on things that don't sell well. Lately the items I have shopped for have gone UP. Cat food, 30 cents to 57 cents a can, vitamins, $2.00 to $5.00, crackers, $1.50 to $2.50. I don't need to have more of my money taken away with their greed. I will shop elsewhere.

Last time I checked, some did close. There used to be several smaller grocery stores throughout including Bi-Lo Mkt
