Board still balking at property zone change

If that land wasn't right off RT279 I am willing to bet they would have no problem rezoning it. Their standing their ground on this for one reason, to protect Main Street. Take a look at the zoning map. Their main goal is to protect downtown and in doing so they are putting the screws to rest of Bennington.
