Sweet nothings: Don't fall for it -- the LCB will never modernize
It happens all the time. Whenever the state's wine and liquor monopoly is under threat, it decides to get customer-friendly. The latest sweet talk came last Tuesday, when Liquor Control Board officials spoke at a hearing before the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Fortunately, the public is ready to hear him out.???!!!
On March 26, 2011 voting on the poll "What is your perception of the state Liquor Control Board?" on Post-Gazette NOW - Polls ended. 59% of 4,517 respondents voted "It's and effective generator of state taxes and revenue." Only 29% voted "It's outdated and is no longer useful or relevant."
Fortunately, the public is NOT ready to hear him out.
