Mr. Tucker is concerned about traffic now? Randy, you live next door to Wal-mart!

Charleston Lakes, you should not have bought a condo within a stones throw of Wal Mart. Your surrounded by commercial on three and a half sides, buy the property and make it what you want.

Wal Mart is not the issue in this case. It was here when Charleston Lake was constructed. The residents knew what traffic was generated by Wal Mart and accepted it. The problem is that traffic increased when the old Cemetary Road was closed and High Street was partly closed. Residents know that traffic is increasing on Waterloo but to stick commercial at the entrance of a residential community does nothing but add to the traffic problems in that immediate area. It would make sense to spread the commercial development down the street. There are tons of commercail areas already available in the Wall Mart area as well as selected sites between Charleston Lake and the old down town. The intelligent move would have been to reserve the zone change until a commercial enterprize expressed interest in the Bayles's property. Then everyone knows the situation and all the cards are on the table for proper and informed discussion. In the meantime VCL property values continue to decline, thanks to the community that is supposed to support them. Not a very intelligent move!!!!
