I cannot wait for it to open It will be closer to my house and they are opening some of the stores that I like. I wish it was larger than that but better than nothing. Good for the community. I am sure it is creating some jobs...Deer Park is a nice place to live especially for young people starting out.

Once again the offcials of Long Island have shown their complete inabilty to inject any creativity or intelligence into planning a community. I live within one mile of the new Tanger Outlet and I have already seen the traffic increase and it's not even Thanksgiving yet!
My wife and I just spent the evening walking around the new monstrocity know as The Arches. Quite frankly I was not impressed. It's obvious that they gave no thought whatsoever as to traffic in or out of that place. The stores themselves are just more of the same. Nothing that Long Island doesn't already have.
To all of you braindead town officials out there: How about next time try building something that Long Island actually needs. Like maybe something that would create REAL jobs. Not $7 an hour retail jobs.

From what i see in photos ot looks great so far. I think that they should include some form of transit to to the deer park station, I dont know if that is true, but I heard it. And also if they included an apartment building or two in one of the parking lots. They've been talking about mixed use developments such as lighthouse in unioundale, I feel this is the perfect oppurtunity because of its potential with transit.
