My condolences to his family. I know from first hand experience how painful it is to lose someone in a small airplane accident. My God go with this man and guide him home.

Yes, my condolences as well. But why would this investigation take up to a year? Low flying aircraft should have a more immediate response I would think. Especially out of concern for the loved ones.

He raised to wonderful daughters, it is a shame to see such a great man leave us. May God be with his family

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Gardner family. Rick was a wonderful father and husband and I just feel fortunate to have been able to know such a wonderful man.

I had the honor of working on Rick's team at BMC. At one time BMC was filled with great sales leadership and Rick was one of the best. What stood out about Rick was that even under the toughest of circumstances he never lost his sense of humor.

I had the pleasure of working for Mr. Gardner, and All I can say is that it was a joyful and educational experience. He inspired those around him. He will be missed.
