Those so called 'Hindu Activists' don't seem very hindu at all. Ahimsa (non violence) is prime requirement for one to be HINDU, along with understanding concepts of VEDA (reveal truth) and DHARMA (rationale for laws).
Hindu is one who understands and adheres to the mains principles of hinduism which are-
1. AHIMSA (to be learned first)|
2. DHARMA (to be learned next)|
3. VED (to be learned last, but is most important)||
