In general it's a good news article for the heroic Syrian Army, it mentions the Hallmark of attacks against it have been improvised explosive devices associated with suicide attacks. Indicating we are not fighting anything other than a tribal contingent of leaderless vermin.

The article doesn't specifically state it, but I can see it's substance is the reflection of events in both Egypt and Iraq, over the same recent period.
In Egypt the opposition is surging out of the doldrums, and in Iraq the Government is finally fighting back.
Oh ho ho Australia day a day to celebrate.

Exactly! At last the Syrian army start understanding how this war is fought. The training of 100 000 paramilitaries is the beginning of the end for the rabble. Up to now the SAA was trained for conventional warfare. But now it is going for the rabble in a different way. Even the French have admitted that Assad could not be defeated. No more hype. No more victory tomorrow,(or is it the day after?). Now he rabble are showing what they were all the time: bandits attacking economic target for the purpose of stealing and raping women. The moment they started planting bombs was the moment they faced defeat. Killing innocent bystanders does not enamour them in the eyes of their supposed supporters.

Does it make you wonder about the power of the Rebels or the incompetance of the SAA? I mean the SAA, Iran and Assad keep adding troops, jets, helicopters, tanks, misiles to their forces and keep loosing territories, where does his incompetance lie??? or is it that they are up against a formidable force that has the will to succeed against all odds???
