Let me see if I read this right? The man, infected with HIV, wants a job which requires him to not only interact with masses of people, but to touch them and search them, and possibly detain them?
Now, the TSA has a choice. Hire him, and expose themselves to a lawsuit by passengers.... or, reject him and pay him handsomely to go away?
Sounds like the TSA is being set up here, in a no-win situation.
If they hire him, they will open up the floodgates for more terminally ill, uninsurable employees who will force them to self-insure.(HIV is an expensive disease to cover)... OR, if they DON'T hire him, they will be flooded with applicants who don't really want the job, just an easily obtained court settlement.
Ching-Ching..How do you spell "GHETTO LOTTERY" ??

U are an ignorant idiot. Hiv patients are protected by the Americans with disability act, which states he can not be discriminated against solely for his illness. U can not transmit hiv by breathing on people, touching people, sneezing on people , etc. being he is an AF veteran, his medical condition is covered by the VA
