U.N. Human Rights Commissioner Navi Pillay estimated that more than 60,000 people have been killed in Syria, a “massive loss of life that could have been avoided if the Syrian government had chosen to take a different path than one of ruthless suppression of what were initially peaceful and legitimate protests by unarmed civilians.”

Yep obviously.

And you are "fanatically devoted" to AlQaeda terrorists! For years Assad was just fine with the West, until the West decided to instigate their "regime change" agenda.

<quoted text>this the problem with religion , all it does is brainwash people, create wars and divisions, every Syrian should be a Syrian , not Sunni or Alawite or Christian . I don't think their was any appetite for dialogue from the opposition from day one, even a 5 year old could see that.
I totally agree with you, they should all think as a Syrian Patriot first, but then again so should Assad and his idea of a dialogue was to send in the tear gas and when that did not work send in the snipers and the rest as the say is history. So if we want to blame anyone it should in fact be Assad and is regime.
