Tell that to the rape victims, drunk driving murders, identity theft victims, and everyone in this Country that has felt the impact of this invasion.

They are criminals and not "desperate people trying to feed their families". The problem is they are treated like welcome guests rather than what they are, criminals comming here to steal what ever they can.

Ancestors felt ? I find your argument hard accept.
Unless you were there and felt (for yourself)whatever it was your ancestors went through,,,,you can not use that argument. Hearsay is not proof enough.
For, you actually don't know.

illegals are law breakers. All abiding legal immigrants and hardworking citizens are trying too feed their families too. what is so special about these illegals that they can be pardoned for breaking the law??? laws are laws. nobody should feel entitled to be excused if they did something wrong.

If you're a citizen in the US you don't know how it feels to be an illegal immigrant and how it's hard to find money and job to feed your family. The poorness in all these undeveloped countries, people come to the US for the "American Dream" for the opprtunity to have a better life. Of course coming the US is breaking the law and there should be more security all over the border no doubt about that.

The American Civil Liberties Union are a bunch off idiots! They just do not seem to get it. These illegal bumbs crossing our border invading our country "ARE criminals!! Strange how other people in their country have no problem feeding their families. Maybe in their countries they have to work and they do not allow their lazy butts to suck their social services dry!! DEPORT!!!

illegals know they have broken and are breaking the laws. they know exactly what they are doing. why do they feel and act like US laws owe them citizenship is beyond me!'Earned citizenship' is what legal immigrants who have become naturalized citizens did. these law breakers should face the consequences that they deserve.

Those people came here just to work because they don't have opportunity to support fheir families no mattet how hard they work in their home countries. They are not criminals nor they are illegals. They are people like us.

Its sad when politicians and certain segments of our population want to degrade our American Citizenship to the point where it has no meaning or value.

Police Watch as SB1070 Illegal alien supporters desecrate US Flag during
National Anthem

The amnesty of 1986 was supposed to be a "one time only" amnesty. Yet since 1986, Congress passed a total of 7 amnesties for illegal aliens:

1.. The Immigration and Reform Control Act (IRCA) Amnesty of 1986 - the "one-time only" blanket amnesty for some 2.8 million illegal aliens.

2.. Section 245(i) The Amnesty of 1994 - a temporary rolling amnesty for 578,000 illegal aliens.

3.. Section 245(i) The Extension Amnesty of 1997 - an extension of the rolling amnesty created in 1994.

4.. The Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act (NACARA) Amnesty of 1997 - an amnesty for nearly one million illegal aliens from
Central America.

5.. The Haitian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act Amnesty (HRIFA) of 1998 - an amnesty for 125,000 illegal aliens from Haiti.

6.. The Late Amnesty of 2000 - an amnesty for approximately 400,000 illegal aliens who claimed they should have been amnestied under the 1986 IRCA amnesty.

7.. The LIFE Act Amnesty of 2000 - a reinstatement of the rolling Section 245(i) amnesty to an estimated 900,000 illegal aliens.

An amnesty is a reward to those breaking the law. Issuing an amnesty to illegal aliens only encourages more illegal immigration into the United States. After the 1986 amnesty, illegal immigration increased significantly.

Census Bureau 2000 data indicate that 700,000 to 800,000 illegal aliens settle in the U.S. each year, with approximately 8-11 million illegal aliens now currently living in the United States (up to 12 million, according to Department of Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge).

The numbers present in this country prove the ACLU to be wrong...The USA has been too easy on illegals. The child tax care credit debacle certainly has proven that the USA is actually too lax on them to the tune of billions.
