Wow, this situation is so out of hand. She was deported the first time for not just being here illegally, but was convicted of identity theft. That in itself should exclude her from any sort of special privileges, including political asylum. She's a criminal in every sense of the word.

You are very misinformed. An American Citizen child doesn't get anybody instant citizenship, not even legal status. In fact Elvira Arellano is the mother of an 14 years old American Citizen, and she was still deported in 2007.

That is a big lie, she was never convicted of identity theft or any other crime.

really?

then, if she asked the usa to send her daughter back to join her in mexico, that confirms that she has "jurisdiction". right?

RIGHT?

do you understand what I'm getting at?

No, she didn't ask the USA to send her son back. The boy was here with a relative and he just moved to Mexico to stay with his mom Jurisdiction has nothing to do with this. Anyway, good try.

You're an immigrant from Asia trying to tell the USA how to run itself. Why don't you go back to Asia and fix Asia instead of coming here and trying to tell us real Americans how we should employ our immigration policy.

good try? hahahaha.

fact is.. more and more people in the usa are starting to truly understand what the 14th amendment is talking about when they say "under the jurisdiction".

and it doesn't mean children born to illegals.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourteenth_Amend...

when the conservatives take control of congress, I am going to scream that we clarify the 14th amendment and deny automatic citizenship to non-citizens who have children born in the usa.

that should shut you pro-illegals and illegals up big time.

From Wikepedia:
Arellano entered the United States illegally in 1997 and was apprehended and deported back to Mexico by the United States government.[2] She returned within days and lived illegally for three years in Oregon.[3] In 1999, she gave birth to a son, Saul Arellano, whose father remains unnamed by Elvira. Saul is a United States citizen. In 2000, Arellano moved to Chicago and worked as a cleaning woman at O'Hare International Airport.[2] In 2002, following a post-September 11 security sweep, she was arrested and convicted of Social Security fraud.[2] Arellano was ordered to appear before immigration authorities on August 15, 2006.[3] On that date she took refuge in the Adalberto United Methodist church in the Humboldt Park area of Chicago, which maintained it was a sanctuary for illegal aliens. Before that, she sought safe haven for a year in Amor De Dios United Methodist Church with Pastor José S. Landaverde, who begun the new immigrant sanctuary movement in Illinois.[4]

1) She's a criminal who evaded having to pay the penalty for social security fraud, meaning she used someone else's social security # to obtain work at O'Hare, the contracting service that hired her is no longer in business, but she obviously still is, peddling her sorry story to any pendejo willing to listen. Elvira should be in jail.

2) Any one who believes this woman has good intentions and deserves asylum in this country should lose their citizenship,, since they obviously don't value it enough to cut criminals off at the pass.

Upon her return to Mexico Arellano stated that "the United States is the one who broke the law first. By letting people cross over [the border] without documents. By letting people pay taxes...."[14] These comments led to criticism because this statement is very similar to those made by anti-immigration groups in the United States.[15]

From Wiki.

Seriously? Her argument is that the US broke the law first? Illiterate degenerates in all their glory, are Elvira and her supporters.

Finally, her comment about 'letting people pay taxes' doesn't include her mia culpa for using someone else's SSN to have those taxes collected. No matter, right? All's fair in theft and fraud.

THE CORRECT THING TO DO ......DEPORTATION......KICK HER AND HER ANCHORS BACK. Now she will be charged with civil disobedience and will NEVER get legalized. GOOD ! she did it to herself !!! it's funny though how they're never to blame for their crimes and won't accept they committed ANY crime, showing no remorse and expect they will be rewarded with legal status because they have a dozen kids which they use as leverage to get what they want.

Amazing, this woman showed up on the border with another child, this time a 5 month old, again, she's unmarried, what a life.

She was released by ICE and is on her way back to Chicago, to have that Democratic stronghold sanctuary city pay the expenses for her children and herself. No doubt Luis Gutierrez is lining up the parade down Pilsen in her honor, and she'll be provided with food, housing and everything her skanky a** needs.
