i wish people would leave Jesus alone and hang the portrait back up. its funny to me that these people claim not to beleive in God but they are the ones who are tho most angry at him. have they ever been angry at unicorns?

I wish people would understand what the law is in this country.

State cannot endorse religion.

Portraits of any religious figure have no business in public schools outside a Religion elective.

People enforcing separation of church and state are doing it to protect religious liberty, even if they don't always realize it.

Your logic is flawed. You don't need to be angry at something to find its inappropriate. I like cake but I wouldn't want it at a weight watchers meeting.

Schools are religiously neutral unless they are privately funded. You want your kid to be taught in a certain religious way then send them to a religious school and stop trying to change the public school system.

It doesn't matter if they believe in Jesus or not, they believe in the constitution, which you obviously do not!

I just think it's sad, most people teach their children about god, and how we should believe in him. My family praises god and we do attend church sometimes, no we don't always go every week because of our work schedules. I don't judge people if they have different religious beliefs than we do, I have also taught my children not to judge anyone at all under no circumstances. The only problem I had with all of this is that it had hung in the same spot for years and years. I can remember seeing that picture my entire high school years. Everyone may not agree with the way I see it, and that's ok. I understand both sides I just wish that it was handled a different way. Who is to say that is a picture of Jesus? No one knows what he looks like, some believe Jesus is a woman even, it was a portrait that had been there for years and I just don't agree with it being taken down and the school settling on this. Again this is just my opinion I don't want anyone arguing over it.
