Couldn't agree more! Palmerton is beautiful - only a small handful of people are mean and miserable, but they have big mouths, and nothing good to say, so they ruin this place. Hope the people finally wise up and vote from some decency around here. Someone who doesn't have his own political agenda.

when the rules were being discussed that was the time to voice an opinion, not after the rules were made-I have very little respect for those who cry to the ACLU when they want things their way. The majority should not cowtow to a few cry babies. I dislike when the cry babies get their way because of cost of legal fees. The ACLU is responsible for the loss of morales, ethics and traditions in this country and have not made America a better place to live. When children pay the taxes for the school system provided, then you hae a say-until then, respect those who proved you an education

Another conservative that missed too much civics class.

Constitutional rights are not subject to the whim of the majority. That's the whole point of having them in the first place.

nor the minority-and I never missed civis class-my point was, rather than handle the problem by themselves, they had to run & cry to the ACLU who I do not feel should receive taxpayers money. I think in trying to defend rights, they have destroyed part of this country. Further, don't attack me because I am a conservative-I gave my opinion which I expect you to do as well but let's be civil. I just don't happen to agree with the way this was handled-their t-shirts didn't bother me, it was how they handled it. An let's not forget the solicitor for the school has more knowledge than the students. You are too quick to start a fight-don't we have more important problems in this world than fighting with each other? This t-shirt business as far as I am concerned, was simply trivial. The country is at war, the economy is bad etc and we are arguing about t-shirts! Isn't that silly

That's what the ACLU is for: holding the government accountable for offenses like this, and thank God they do it too.

As far as I know, we don't give up our constitutional rights because some idiots started a war.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Taurus

Someone isn't mucking about today, and if they're annoyed about something they'll come right out with it. This means you could be on the receiving end of some zingers, but equally it means that you'll be giving as good as you get. Now, although it will be very tempting to let off steam by giving someone an earful, aren't there better directions in which to channel your energy?
