From the article:

" ...'For me, social issues in this country are bigger than me or my job. I could always get another job if I lost my job. The other stuff is too important to me.'... "

I agree.

Anybody who says they are not anti-gay and then don't support marriage equality are just liars. Note: The liars support Romney, birds of a feather stick together.

Mr. Daeger, who works on the production line says, "I could always get another job if I lost my job."

I wonder if whatever job he would find would pay as well, or have as good of benefits. I don't think he is living in the real world.

'Mr Daeger said: "I understand that taxes are necessary. We need a safety net. When I go to pick up my kids, and I see a kid who gets free lunches at school because of their parents' low income, I want to feed that child.

"But when I see their mom's got all the tattoos and $80 piercings and she's talking on her cellphone ... they have the money for all that, but none to feed their kids?"'

Well the article says he is a Catholic and therefore a Christian (though I am aware thay many US Preotestants think Catholics are not Christians but followers of the Whore of Babylon). In any case, "Jesus" says not to judge. So how does he know how welfare mama got her tats and piercings? Maybe she got them before she was on welfare.

"But anyone with a rational mind can see that he inherited an economy that was already in a tailspin under George W Bush...."

But 90% of the people in the US (and probably about 40% of the people here in Canada) do not have rational minds. If a virus could be created that would cause rapid death in all individuals incapable of rational thought, the world would be a paradise.

What I can never figure out, though, is how the Republican Party convinces people like factory workers to vote against their own interests. I'm going to guess that the GM factory job is the best Mr. Daegers can get in the area, and he might have been in for a shock to find that it couldn't be so easily replaced. And every time I've heard a guy talk like that, they've grabbed every handout they can get when luck turned against them.

Right down the line, Romney's policies are designed to kick the Daeger family in the teeth. Meanwhile, Mr. Bates as a lawyer is more likely to benefit from Romney's policies than Mr. Daeger. But I think he understands that. And he is willing to share the wealth this society helps create.

Like me, Mr. Bates will be just fine no matter who wins. I'm not so sure Mr. Daegers is as well-positioned.

Perhaps she acquired the tattoos on the same drunken binge that also blessed her with the children. Or perhaps she has always lived a very responsible life that included getting tattoos before her husband died in Afghanistan.

Apparently Mrs. Daeger needs a man to tell her that she doesn't have a choice to have an abortion if she needed or wanted one.

Since she can't make that choice herself, she should really consider not voting at all.

What she is really saying is that she is glad that Romney is telling OTHER WOMEN that they don't have a choice, because she certainly would choose to keep her baby due to her personal beliefs. So she supports the government imposing their beliefs on people who may not agree.

She insults women across the country.

Mrs. Daeger is a banker, and I'm sure she thinks for herself. Because she stands by her beliefs, you decides she needs a man to tell her what to do...interesting how the looney left thinks.

I stand by my beliefs, but you will never hear me say that I am glad that a guy wants to make sure that I have to choose to keep a baby, even if I was raped or pregnancy would kill me. Let me make that decision for myself, thanks. Besides, my beliefs may not be someone else's beliefs, but it isn't my business to make decisions for them and their bodies.

Mrs. Daeger would choose to keep the baby, regardless of the legality of abortion. That is my point. Pro-life IS a choice. Not a requirement.

The "looney left" prefers that people make choices that are in their best interests, instead of being told, "too bad, so sad, here is your only option."

And what exactly does being a banker have to do with thinking for yourself?

How are we forcing you not to serve? We're just a convenient excuse for your cowardice.

So many of you have it sooooo wrong. Try fact checking. Romney is prolife except in cases of rape, insects, and the welfare of the mother. Which basically means he doesn't approve of aborting humans for convenience. Too bad Obama fanatics can't understand this.

All issues are important to me; social, economic, and foreign. President Obama has supported all the issues I'm concerned about.

That's why I'll VOTE FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA on November 6th. The right-wing kooks can complain about that all they want. There's no way to stop ME from voting.

If I'm not mistaken, and I'm sure I'm not, Mr. Romney has been all over the board on this (as well as every other issue). In fact, he has said that he would aign a bill to give person-hood to a fertilized egg. That would preclude any abortions for any reason. Mr. Romney just wants to win, and he doesn't care which side of an issue he must be on to do so. At one time I would have voted for him, but the way he keeps changing is opinions, depending upon the audience, I can no longer trust him to be consistent, and therefore could not support him.

Ralph, my advice to you is to stop mindlessly swallowing the left wing BS spewed by the MSM. The caricature of Romney being a flip-flopper is a myth fabricated by spineless liberals because they don't have a record to run on. If character is what you're looking at, then Romney stands head and shoulders above anyone else running in any race this election. If you're concerned about character, consider the lying coward Obama and his actions related to the Benghazi murders.

All the issues you care about?
1. Social: Obama supports infanticide
2. Economic: Obama hasn't even tried to balance a budget. His
grand plan for job creation: More spending and higher
taxes... strategies that have failed miserably.
3. Foreign: Obama apologizes to the world for America and is
lying about Libya.

Your mentor, Barack Hussein Obama, is an abject disgrace and has failed miserably as president.
