Birth control fails. Then there is that sticky issue called rape. Now we have the "rape" drug and a woman/girl does not even realize she has been raped. Luckily we have the option for safe legal abortion!

OOOpps looks like they missed the civil rights of the unborn children in this country.
Seems to be some controversy. The unborn have no civil rights. Even the CC agrees. And their god knows they are the authority!

Yeah, goofy, and ALL birth control methods can and DO fail on occasion. NO BC method is 100% guaranteed against unwanted pregnancy, so a girl/woman can still get pregnant while on birth control.

The only person who decides whether or not to continue a pregnancy is the WOMAN who is pregnant. If it isn't YOUR pregnancy, it isn't your decision. It really IS that simple.

Abortion isn't birth control, it's murder. Don't sugar coat it by calling it "termination".
YOU don't get to decide what we call abortion, goofy, whether it's termination of an unwanted pregnancy or something else.

It is still EACH woman's decision whether or not to continue a pregnancy. If you aren't the woman who is pregnant, you don't get to determine the outcome. Get over it.

You want me to accept your conclusion, you must conclusively prove it. Yes, I want documentation.
The Nuremberg Race Laws formed the cornerstone of Nazi racial policy. Their introduction in September 1935 heralded a new wave of antisemitic legislation that brought about immediate and concrete segregation. German court judges could not cite legal commentaries or opinions written by Jewish authors, Jewish officers were expelled from the army, and Jewish university students were not allowed to sit for doctoral exams.

In 1937 and 1938, German authorities again stepped up legislative persecution of German Jews. They set out to impoverish Jews and remove them from the German economy by requiring them to register their property and preventing them from earning a living. The Nazis forbade Jewish doctors to treat non-Jews and they revoked the licenses of Jewish lawyers. In August 1938, German authorities decreed that by January 1, 1939, Jewish men and women bearing first names of “non-Jewish” origin had to add “Israel” and “Sara,” respectively, to their given names. All Jews were obliged to carry identity cards that indicated their Jewish heritage, and, in the autumn of 1938, all Jewish passports were stamped with an identifying letter “J.”

Like I said, how do "females" get themselves into these situations? Good Lord, take some responsibility for your whereabouts and "who" you're hanging out with. Geez, humans are predators, they always have been. At what point did it become "safe" to allow your vulnerability to show? Screw the "unwanted" pregnancy, there is a whole lot more at stake than worrying about getting knocked-up here. I hope you are taking more precautions for yourself than just worrying whether abortion will remain legal. Bloody Hell!

Are you blaming the victim COW and siding with the "predator"?

When all precautions fail abortion is available for an unwanted pregnancy, that is what the discussion is about in case you are unaware. So since you contend "you" are in control of your body then butt out and allow other women/girls to be in control of theirs. Has anybody lately forced you to have an abortion? Didn't think so. Do you have a drinking problem? Thought so. Thanks!

Until tax money stops being used to supply abortions to the irresponsible, I have to remain in the discussion. Why would I blame a "victim"? There are very few true victims in this world, except for the unborn. If an abortion is the only avenue to prevent an unwanted child, apparently there was a lack of control to begin with.

You just gone done claiming...and I quote "Geez, humans are predators, they always have been. At what point did it become "safe" to allow your vulnerability to show? Screw the "unwanted" pregnancy, there is a whole lot more at stake than worrying about getting knocked-up here.""

Do you even know what you are talking about, or do you just babble on hoping by chance something rational will materialize?

Since you claimed you have control of your body and reproductive life I suggest AGAIN you step back...way back and allow others the same.

There are many circumstances in which prior to abortion lack of control had nothing to do with it. I know three married women who became pregnant during menopause, all three had abortions. Had nothing to do with lack of control and everything to do with bodily changes.

But the simple answers like "lack of control" are easier to apply by the simple minds that vomit them out...right COW?

Riiiiiiiiiight, on Planet Anti-Choice, there's no such thing as "unwanted" pregnancy, and any woman who has consensual sex needs to be PUNISHED by getting pregnant, especially if she isn't married. Got [email protected]@

Guess what, I DON'T live in that insane world, thank goodness, so I get to make my OWN sexual and reproductive choices. Whether YOU approve of them is irrelevant. The fact remains that motherhood is OPTIONAL, not required. A woman can reject motherhood for any reason, including the most basic one; she doesn't want to BE a mother.

Good question, Morgana. Personally, "CBOW" comes across to me as a woman who has been told that "motherhood is what women are SUPPOSED TO do" or something equally ridiculous, and she has never questioned that nonsense even once.

In that kind of insane anti-choice ideology, women who for some reason don't want any children have something "wrong" with them. The fact that motherhood is OPTIONAL doesn't seem to register with the anti-choice extremists.
