Since you're gay, and in all likelihood will never bear children yourself, this is not your purview.

Let's leave the decision of when or whether to remain pregnant, in the hands of those who become pregnant in the first place. You know - like the way you'll want to have the decision of what anti-virals to take for your imminent HIV, in yours.

K'thanks.

Lotta things are easy to say when they happen to be the TRUTH.
For instance, "I will NEVER vote for a democrat because they are Evil. PURE EVIL." There. That was easy to say !:) Because it's the TRUTH !
Moderately interesting stance you've taken since, overall, it's the Democratic Party that's been advocating for "marriage equality." Unless of course you feel that's EVIL too...

I'm going to go out on a limb, and guess that perhaps this is a gay fellow who is personally against gay marriage, like some women are personally against women's rights....as well as being a gay person who believes that pregnancy should be the purview of folks who will never be pregnant.

Shaking my head.

Interesting supposition.
However, I'll venture out a little further on said limb, and guess that this fellow's not really gay, and even if he is, he's most definitely not the Libertarian he claims to be. Libertarians generally don't resort to parroting paranoid right-wing talking points when describing members of the Democratic Party.

Interesting. So you are against "abortion, by anyone, at anytime, for any reason"? How do you feel about people who are against gay people getting married?

<quoted text>I can show you in three different amendments that I, as a citizen, have the same right to make my own medical choices as any other citizen, including you. And the irony of someone who claims to be pro-life, and who wants to remove the rights of any individual to direct their own life, yelling 'Don't take away my gun rights' is too obvious to discuss.
First off, show me the amendments. Second I NEVER SAID remove the RIGHTS of ANYBODY! Abortion is the law not a right and I said abortions need to be REGULATED, LIMITED AND RARE! 3400 a day, that don't bother you?

You act like women just crave to have abortions, when in reality, it's one of the hardest decisions most women have to make.

It bothers me how he is mad about straight people messing with his marriage, but he doesn't see the problem with him being a man messing with women's issues.

Just use effective contraception or stop having sex. It aint that hard.
There's NO contraceptive method on the market that is 100% guaranteed against unwanted pregnancy. And very few people, if any, want to stay celibate for life if they never want to get pregnant.

Not YOUR pregnancy? Not your decision, simple as that.

Thanks for sharing your OPINION. I don't share it, nor do I buy the "abortion kills babies" slogan from the ANTI-CHOICE crowd.

EACH woman has the right to decide for HERSELF whether to continue a pregnancy or not. If it isn't YOUR pregnancy, it isn't your decision.

Pro-choice is the word you use. It isn't about CHOICE it is about ABORTION. Don't candy coat it, call it what it is! Tell me that embryos or fetii ISN'T alive! Personally, I believe everyone is entitled to one mistake but ABORTIONS need to be regulated, limited and rare. Birth control is so easy to get and the one thing that works 100% of the time is by not doing it until...... fill in the blank. We have 3400 a day not a year, IN ONE DAY!! And liberals want to b*tch about guns. Show me in the Constitution were abortions are is a right. They are legal by law but NOT a right. I can show you in the Constitution were it is my RIGHT to have a gun!
So, you have a right to own guns, that are created for the sole purpose of killing other people, and that stats show are more likely used to kill yourself, or kill someone accidentally, then to justifiably kill an attacker, and yet you scream that women are killing a fetus that they cannot provide for if it were to be born?

That shows quite a disconnect from your "pro-life" stance.

Are you also willing to pay for the support and raising of all the unwanted offspring, until adulthood?

A great many so-called pro-lifers don't seem to be.

Proclaiming oneself to be 'pro-life' is usually rank hypocrisy, if not an outright lie.

The vast majority of the so-called 'pro-life' crowd is merely 'pro-what-they-want-for-THEIR- life'. The rest are no more than 'pro-control-of-the-lives-of-o thers'.

Coming from the left, one could make that argument. Abortions need to stay that way for both people involved. I understand under certain circumstances the life of the mother, how she became pregnant needs to be weighted but it SHOULD be a difficult decision. 3400 a day!

Re-read it yourself. You seem to have missed your own point.

Unless you were asserting that everyone has the right to ONCE mistake their teen son coming home from a date, for a burglar, and shoot him in the face, of course.

Helluva mistake. Once is all it would take, eh??

Beat your little heels against the floor all you like - each individual woman has the right to determine what she does with each of her individual pregnancies. 90% of the time, we choose to gestate, keep, and lovingly raise our born children. Focus on that.

If men got pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.

Why the hell should it be 3,400 a day? Who gets to make the decision about who gets to take control of their destiny and who doesn't? What about a woman who was raped or molested? What about if she is poor and young and knows she can't provide a good life for her kid? What if the kid has defects, and will end up miserable, and burden to his loved ones? I guess if one of those women comes forward, but she's 3,401, you'll tell her to go screw? Is that it?
