Abortion is evil, when murder is chosen over convenience. There are justifications for abortions, rape and incest for two. Choosing to end the life of your child over adoption is bad. I encourage adoption, not murder. See the big picture.

So your god does support slavery--that's what owning a person is.

The big picture is that there are already about a half-million kids available for adoption, most of whom will never have a permanent home. WTF would we do with even HALF of the fetuses aborted last year alone if the pregnancy had gone to term?

cpeter1313 confuses adoption with foster children. In most of the Western World, there is a waiting list for newborns.

I don't confuse anything, you half-wit twit. There is a waiting list for perfect white babies. You think no children above neonates are up for adoption? Foster parents may raise adoptable children for periods of time, but they are NOT permanent homes. Any child whose parents are dead or have waived parental rights (or had those rights removed) may be adopted. YOU mistake permanent homes with temporary solutions.

Bad news for catholics: the trinity has broken up. I was going down a street yesterday and saw a "church of god" on the corner. On the Then, a few opposite corner was a "church of christ."
Down the same street, a few blocks away, was "Church of the holy spirit." So, evidently they've not just broken up, but are in direct competition. Christmas is going to get UGLY!

This is what is known as hypocrisy. They fight for human rights but they deny the most basic human right of all….the right to life.

who said the unborn were not worthy of living? who said it wasn't a human being? were saying that the one carrying the unborn has the right to decide to continue to gestate on until birth.
if you give the unborn rights, you take rights from the woman or girl in question and it makes no sense to give a fetus rights above the rights of woman.
body autonomy is a woman's ultimate right.
In order for a human to have rights, they must be alive to begin with. To deny a person the right to life denies them their right to freedom, their right to equality, their right to free speech and religion and their right to pursue happiness.
Human rights are inalienable, which means human rights cannot be given or taken away. The ultimate right is the right to life.

We were discussing newborns, let's not change the subject. There are waiting lines to adopt newborns.

There is no right to be supported by another person's body without their permission. You can't force someone to donate blood, tissue, organs, etc--including the uterus.

Human babies are incapable of forcing anyone to do anything. The baby is in the mother because the mother's reproductive system put the baby there. The baby has absolutely no control over that, and the right to life gives the baby every right to be there.

Organ donation is the donation of biological tissue or an organ of the human body, from a living or dead person to a living recipient in need of a transplantation. And once you start messing around with this definition, you’re on a slippery slope.

During the normal course of a pregnancy the mothers and babies blood does not mix or circulate together. The umbilical cord attaches to the placenta. The placenta is the "container" that keeps the baby "isolated" from the mother. The fetal blood flows through the baby, out the umbilical cord to the placenta and no further.

The placental membrane separates maternal blood from fetal blood.

It's not a fu**ing baby, and if the reproductive system "put it there", then the woman has the right to veto her system's error. We are not slaves to whatever caprice of fate blows our way. Fetuses don't HAVE rights, and never have.

Fetuses are so "isolated" that they can be born with HIV or an addiction to drugs.

The blood does not combine, but the fetus still uses the woman's systems and drains her resources. The woman gets to decide whether she will allow it or not.

Human rights are inherent. Which means humans of every age have rights. Which means human fetus have the same rights as any other human of any other age.
Pregnancy is not a "system's error". Pregnancy is a normal physiological process indicative to every female, not a caprice of fate.
And yes it is a baby.

the right to live if for the LIVING; (really and truly, there is not "right" to life.) feti and embryos are alive but they ARE NOT LIVING and as a totally dependent being, they impose themselves on another, who is living and has civil, human and constitutional rights.

a woman does not loose her rights and body autonomy just because she is pregnant.
with respect to viability, the decision to give birth is solely on the woman in question.
