What I don't understand is yeah it might be controversial, but many of these women will go onto have a kid or two and even more later down the road.

Eugenics.
Has happened over the years through many guises.
In a certain village a group of women were told they were being injected a medicine to protect both themselves and their growing babies, most ladies did not carry through with their pregnancies, as most lost of their babies shortly after this medicine was administered.
Those that gave birth, found they were infertile afterwards.
Bill Gates funds a pro abortion lobbyist.
A very informative documentry where by he is speaking at a confrence.
He is speaking of the worlds pollution and how more needs to be done to prevent it worsening, he speaks of CO 2 gases,an image appears above his head behind him on the projection screen, thirty poeople or so, all smiling, Black, White Asian, Mr Gates says,*We really need to get rid of certain elements that are damaging our world, our society*, out of no where, a big green arrow points down at both the Blacks and Asians in image/photo, the audience are silent, then a few giggle, and then more laugh, as if a *private in joke*, Mr Gates look over his shoulder at this image and chuckles and replies..*I know..*

Make of that what you will, the truthcan very often be found between the lines.
Either way, he had a point, the pollution in this world caused by humans is bad, but suspect he was not really speaking about this.

Woman and the New Race, by Margaret Sanger, 1920

http://www.questia.com/library/1461039/woman-...

1. "Most women who belong to the workers' families have no accurate or reliable knowledge of contraceptives, and are, therefore, bringing children into the world so rapidly that they, their families and their class are overwhelmed with numbers."

2. "The deadly chain of misery is all too plain to anyone who takes the trouble to observe it. A woman of the working class marries and with her husband lives in a degree of comfort upon his earnings. Her household duties are not beyond her strength. Then the children begin to come -- one, two, three, four, possibly five or more. The earnings of the husband do not increase as the family rapidly does. Food, clothing and general comfort in the home grow less as the numbers of the family increase. The woman's work grows heavier, and her strength is less with each child. Possibly -- probably -- she has to go into a factory to add to her husband's earnings. There she toils, doing her housework at night. Her health goes, and the crowded conditions and lack of necessities in the home help to bring about disease -- especially tuberculosis. Under the circumstances, the woman's chances of recovering from each succeeding childbirth grow less. Less too are the chances of the child's surviving."

3. "As far back as 1900, I began to inquire of my associates what one could tell these worried women who asked constantly:'What can I do?' It is the voice of the elemental urge of woman -- it has always been there; and whether we have heeded it or neglected it, we have always heard it. Out of this cry came the birth control movement. Economic conditions have naturally made this elemental need more plain; sometimes they have lent a more desperate to woman's cry for freedom.... But the birth control movement as a movement for woman's basic freedom was born of that unceasing cry of the socially repressed, spiritually stifled woman who is constantly demanding:'what can I do to avoid more children?'

After a year's study in foreign countries for the purpose of supplementing the knowledge gained in my fourteen years as a nurse, I came back to the United States determined to open a clinic. I had decided that there could be no better way of demonstrating to the public the necessity of birth control and the welcome it would receive than by taking the knowledge of contraceptive methods directly to those who most needed it."

Obviously sarcasm eludes you. Why am I not surprised.

Here's a little news flash for you, Brian; women are NOT brood mares for the infertile. If a woman chooses the adoption route, fine. If she DOESN'T choose the adoption route, that's also fine.

Either way, unless YOU are the woman who is pregnant, it isn't YOUR decision to make. Get it now?

Dehumanize much? Women have the right to do as they choose, not to be subjected to insult and degradation as Ocean shows above; "brood mares", are you serious or is this more sarcasm?

In the words of our wise President: "We will draw upon the courage and skills of our sisters and daughters and moms, because women have proven under fire that they are ready for combat." That's the state of the union, we're screwed.

That was my point DUH! Men and women are different and a womans medical condition of pregnancy is hers and hers alone and none of your business.
Brian_G wrote:

Protection and control have two different meanings. You should look them up. If a woman chooses abortion she does not need your "protection" in trying to stop her. Round there it sounds like women are protected by being bullied by the so called "men". THERE, I shared.

The war on women is an attempt to stop her from HER medical decisions and an attempt to delegate control of her medical/physical/financial well being to men and state, nothing more. Consider women first when it is HER body, her medical condition, her welfare. How is it right for government to step in and demand that a woman/girl give birth against their will? Should government demand that men become life support systems against their will? If not why not?

Dehumanize? Stepping in anothers medical decision and rendering their will and decision invalid would be dehumanizing and delegating women as life support systems against their will. In other words BROOD MARE!! What does a woman/girl personally gain from being FORCED to carry an unwanted pregnancy? Point this out, if you can.

If a woman/girl chooses to birth and give up for adoption that is HER choice, not something mandated by men and state. it is no longer beautiful if she HAS NO OTHER CHOICE!!

Abortion is NOT everyones decision, if it were then women/girls COULD be forced TO HAVE AN ABORTION!!

Obviously you now have a problem with women in the military?? Of course you do!

Women want to SHUT MEN UP and want them OUT of women/girls medical/physical decisions.

If a woman CHOOSES the adoption route, that's fine. I believe I said just that in my previous post. Why you have such trouble getting that is beyond me.

Women also have the right NOT to be brood mares for the infertile, and they can choose NOT to stay pregnant and give birth. It is EACH woman's choice, whatever that may be.

I know you have issues with women who DON'T conform to your rigid expectations of what a woman is "supposed to" do. Too bad. Whatever a woman may decide, it isn't YOUR decision to make for her.

Tell that to all the poor kids who HAVEN'T been adopted and are still stuck in the foster care system. Adoption remains a CHOICE for women, and it doesn't have a happy outcome for all kids.

Bottom line; adoption is NOT the "magic" solution that anti-choicers make it out to be. And it is NO solution for the woman who doesn't want to be pregnant. EACH woman will decide what she will do about a pregnancy. If it isn't YOUR pregnancy, it isn't your decision.

As opposed to the rich kids who are adopted right away? I'm writing about putting your newborn up for adoption, there are waiting lines for very young children.

.
Ocean56 wrote:

Adoption is a much happier occasion than abortion, where the unborn kids are murdered. Adoption is the moral choice and abortion the immoral choice.

Adoption saves lives and spreads love, not magic but the next best thing.

Adoption is more of a solution than abortion, because most of those women don't want to be murderers too.

The morality of abortion is everyone's decision. Just because a court took the law away from the state, is no reason to advocate murder of the unborn.
