As a staunch conservative I have to say: legal abortion is here to stay. Some restrictions are in order, like a time limit, parental notification, etc.

Interesting, of course the extreme bias of the MSM has gotten worse under Obama and they are now starting to say, whoa, what are we doing? As it is right now, they say and print exactly what this administration tells them to print, there supposedly neutral "Commentators" and talking heads, supposed to simply report the news have morphed into Opinion Commentators, similar to those seen on The Five. People who are hired because of their opinions and who will be counted on to present their side of any issue. That is what passes for neutral news broadcasters now. This is why we hear of Akin, over and over and over and not one word about the democrat who had the liaison with the teenaged boy for oral sex in the rest stop bathroom. Certainly at least as distasteful as the idiotic comment from Akin. AND Morris has a point, the Republicans immediately jumped on him and asked for his resignation. He refused, apparently not taking into account that he would have to forgo any monetary help from the establishment or any of the super pacs. Until MSM realizes that America is a Center Right Nation, and starts to report without the extreme left bias that annoy so many of us, they will continue to decline in viewership and their extremely biased news magazines and papers will continue to decrease. I, and many of my friends no longer bother, and have not for years now, with Time, News Week or even Vanity Fair. The far left bias in each and every article just got too much to take. But, since liberals really aren't that smart, their learning curve is not as good as the bright students, it will take them much longer to see cause and effect. They are just now beginning to see that people are not buying their goods because they just aren't as smart as them, they aren't buying their goods because the are publishing lies and distortions and misinformation disguised as "News". The intelligent among us, now that they don't have a monopoly on the news distribution, have multiply sources to get our information and the falsity of what they print is easier than ever to prove. Perhaps when they are down to the wire and going out of business, they will finally wise up. Being far left liberals I don't hold out a lot of hope that they will.

lying. Mainstream is mainstream. Any bias is toward the trivial and consumerism.

This is a report on Fox which was started by political operatives, gives jobs to potential candidates and remains 24/7 committed to propaganda. They are more blatant about selling their BS ideology than their commercials are about selling products.

Are we so complacent that mothers are now taking their unborn childrens' lives in this great country of ours..even when the children are well
formed. Never before has there been so much
help to women w/chldren in need. Families must
be supportive as these unborn children are our
granchildren, nieces/nephews, sisters/brothers.
Just envision what could have been...seeing an
aborted unborn developing child at the age of 20.

IF you watch FOX News, and believe what you see, you owe it to yourself to carefully research what was stated. Be curious, you shall be surprized at what you find.

Of course this applies to all networks within the USA. Seek foreign news or Jon Stewart/Steven Colbert <sarcasm> instead.

Our media are entirely owned and controlled by those beyond the reach of common citizens.

Organised as international corporations, with a globalised mission of subsidiary offices, its product is propaganda, pouring in prodigious quantity from a network of TV and radio stations and publishing houses.

The intent is to control the population.

If SCOPES had link to these network claims, all you would see is FALSE.

Dick Morris makes some interesting points, but his predictions are not that much better than anyone else's. I believe that he predicted that the 2008 presidential election would be between Hillary Clinton and Condoleeza Rice. He also predicted that Sharron Angle would defeat Harry Reid in 2010, but when Reid won (by 5+ points), Morris blamed the union vote. I wouldn't expect him to be 100%, you'd think that a political scientist worth his salt would expect union power in a state like Nevada.

The Akin story is a plus for Romney -- for the time being. But if he cannot convice Akin to withdraw, he (and the GOP) need to recruit a conservative candidate to run as an independent (or write-in candidate if that is not possible). If his opposition to Akin means anything, it cannot be fleeting.

Akin points out clearly the insanity of the GOP. Ryan was Akin's co-sponsor on 30 something anti-women's choice bills. Watch C-SPAN.

Hopefully if we elect a Republican President, House, and Senate we can demand we do something about the Union takeover of America. They are 7% of the workers, and they believe they run everything. They don't, and need to have their power reduced to size.

There are quite a few speculated reasons why Mitt Romney won’t release his taxes. One of which, interestingly enough, is that he may have hid money from his church. At a news conference, he is reported to have said,“Every year, I’ve paid at least 13 percent, and if you add, in addition, the amount that goes to charity, why the number gets well above 20 percent,” Romney said. First of all, you don’t get to add your charitable donations to your tax rate. It doesn’t work that way. Second, tithing isn’t exactly the same thing as charity, and 20% is still an extremely low tax if you’re worth as much as Romney.

While Mitt’s most recent excuse for not releasing his tax returns (not wanting to disclose tithing) is a shoddy one, it completely loses credibility altogether when his wife, during an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts, says the following:“You know, you should really look at where Mitt has led his life and where he’s been financially. He’s been a very generous person. We give ten percent of our income to our church every year. Do you think that is the kind of person that is trying to hide things?”

OUCH!

the problem with the country is working people trying to protect themselves and their families from being screwed and idiotic drones like yourself. The unions have very little power now and that cooresponds with the decline in the middle and working class.

Very little power? Really? The Union owns the President, and half the elected Democrats. It is their money that gave them their elections. It is just now that the American people have started asking all those not registered please register to vote.

OK I'll give you that point. The democrats are in bed with labor unions.

Who are the reublicans in bed with? Lets go with The oil industry, Banking, our largest corporations, the healthcare insurance industy, Catholic leadership, saudi royalty, south american and mexican drug cartels, and lastly, our blessed super wealthy.
so yes the democrats are in bed with the laobr unions. But they are just having one on one normal sex.
The rebuplican party has a much bigger bed with an orgy of depravity every nite.
I think that is a fair metaphore...

And what exactly do you have against people who organize for a decent living wage and better working conditions?

Hating unions is like a GOP requirement into the club, yet you have no REAL reason why. You just say you hate them because your told you must.
