I am 7 and 1/2 months pregnant right now (and 12 years old) and guess what... I couldn't be happier. I was raped, but the man is in jail now. And none of you people out there can judge me by my age, because for a 12 year old I am very smart and I think I can be a better mom for this child than some of the teenagers out there can. I will have my parents here to help me until I can take full responsibility for my baby, and I will not allow her to be taken away from me or adopted. I will get the education I need in my life, but this baby will always be the most important thing in the world to me. So for any of those people out there who think that I am a stupid child for not wanting an abortion, I just wanted to tell you that I am willing to sacrafice my life to give this baby the wonderful life it deserves.

"SOON???" Well...Be prepared to be raise that baby ALL BY YOURSELF miss "grown." You need to find a hobby and stop worrying about babies young girl. What is wrong with YOU KIDS? I know whats wrong. You're too busy trying to "grown ups" Your time to br "grown" will come. Just be young, live your life without kids for now anf have fun. Get your education and a good job. Be able to hold your own before making babies and then having to rely on everyone else to help you. REAL WOMEN WHO ARE MOTHERS DONT NEED HANDOUTS FROM OTHERS. They know how to handle their business and responsibilities on their own. this is what womenhood is all about. Not asking mommy and daddy to help you. Please DO NOT get pregnant anytime soon. YOU WILL REGRET IT. that BOY will not stay with you.

I think its entirely inappropriate and extremely irresponsible, I don't think we should be applauding this girl, instead making her see that it ridiculous. This has gone further than empowerment to young mums this is just a piss take on how our social standings have dropped that some people actually think it is ok to say 'good on her'
I am 15 years old and there is no doubt about the high quality of sex education we get in schools now, its just a fact of ignorance and petulance for her not to listen. Depending on the circumstances (if it was physical rape then HE should be reprimanded) but I know from cases in school that it is usually the younger girls which make themselves more acsessable to older boys and the boys cannot always be entirely to blame

There is alot of stuff going on in the world today. This girl should still be a child, playing with dolls..not a real life baby. She seems to think being a mommy will come naturally. What about when this little one cries all night? Does this girl know that second hand cigarette smoke kills? Maybe the child would be better off to be put up for adoption.
i totally agree with you

I really don't think that any twelve year old should be responsible for a baby. She's not ready, no matter what anyone says. Her parents should have stepped in a LOOOOOOOOONG time ago. Maybe they could have stopped this whole scenario from even happening. But as it is, i don't think the baby should be completely taken away from its mother, if she really really really wants it. Maybe the parents could've adopted it... that way the mom could still be around to watch her baby grow, but she wouldn't have to be completely responsible for it. But no way in heck should she have had an abortion. NO WAY.

Thisis jus a bad case of kids havig kids. Im the same age as this girl and wouldnt even think about having sex yet aloe having a kid at my age. She should have been more careful and if she wanted to have sex she should have used protection.

The child shouldn't be taken off her because her home is too small and needs redecorating - for god's sake, homeless people have kids living on the streets! But her age should be seriously considered. She should be given a chance to prove herself under strict supervision from social services and her mother - she has no idea on babies which could be dangerous for the baby.
She claims she will be a great mother! Yeah, until she wants to go to her best friend birthday party, and then have a sleepover at another friends!

Is it just me or do others reading the above statement find it hard to believe that a 12 year old girl wrote it? If she did, she has better grammar skills then most adults do....

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Virgo

Be careful you don't wind up doing someone else's work today, Virgo. There are all sorts of little tricks to persuade you to take pity on them, from pretending to be ill to making such a hash of everything that you can't bear to watch for a moment longer. Then you are likely to be asked to put in some overtime, at the expense of your social life. Grr.
