Bullshyt.. Mr. Roeder murdered the doctor for a religious/political reasons that had nothing to do with the former Governor prochoice position.
And everything to do with "prolife movement" efforts at trying to close the Doctors clinic.
How do you know Roeder's motives? You don't.

Sebelius was a catalyst in this.

Agreed on all points. The anti-choice extremist nutjobs really expose their blatant hypocrisy in trying to blame anyone but THEMSELVES when one of their own people murders an abortion provider.
The ONLY person to blame in Dr. Tiller's murder was Roeder himself, along with whoever may have helped him to carry it out.
Amazed that you'd agree.

I didn't say Roeder was blameless.

I said Sebelius, pro-choice extremist, helped light the fuse.

Was only Roeder responsible or were "anti-choice extremist nutjobs"? You blame both in your post.

In what way did Sebelius help light a fuse under Roeder's azz? Please explain.

I'm not that interested in you planting your flag or whatever. I get that grandstanding enough from Morgana and others.
Oh really? Is that why you are avoiding answers on my questioning of "intent" posed on :

He stated it you putz.. he believed he was saving the "unborn" he believed that he was doing "god" work.

All this "rhetoric" was from "bible studies", you @ss.. You are defending a domestic terrorist. A murderer.

The Catalyst?

It could have been mickey mouse.. This scum walked into a christian church and murdered the doctor in front of his family, friends, and a congregation.

Are you seriously going to defend this scum? Really?

Have you no decency at least.

Anyone who watched Roeder's trial in 2010 knew what his motives were. I was one of those who watched Roeder's trial, as much as I could anyway. He STATED his motives in open court. And he was found GUILTY.

I always find it hilarious when anti-choice nutjobs find a way to blame government officials like Sebelius for their MURDEROUS actions. As far as I'M concerned, Roeder is a domestic terrorist and a murderer who is in PRISON, where he belongs.

Agreed. The anti-choice extremist nutjobs won't make it easy for them to provide services. I commend the new owners for making the commitment to women in Kansas.
There is no commitment to women, just their commitment to take advantage of women, and make lots of money. If there commitment was to women, they would help them keep their child and help them through what may be a tough time with out having to kill in order to get out of a tough sitution. Seems the extreme position is those that have to kill in order to relieve the pressures of pregnancy which is natural and good is all yours.

Their commitment is to treat women who have made a "choice". Women go to them of their own free will. You know that free will thing that "your" god gave to man....even women!! Imagine that!

So the OB/GYNS work for free?

Who's defending him?

So, Roeder acted on his own, or as an arm of all the anti-choice nutjobs you decry so loudly? Again, you can't have it both ways.

What questions?

If it's the old "rape" surrogate for the abortion argument, it's a rabbithole and I AM ignoring you.

IF it's a different question, ask it on the thread again and I'll respond.

Here is the post:

""So the intent of a rapist is to procreate, and the intent of the raped the same?

See Dan, your logic does not hold water when the male becomes involved and the fact that your religious beliefs (what you base your convictions/logic on) would (if they could) legally mandate a woman/girl carry the result of a crime committed against her."""

Surrogate? I personally know 5 women who have been raped, two became pregnant. One went through with the pregnancy and the other aborted. What is the problem Dan? No good answers for the rape issue? Or you simply don't care, or perhaps you think they were not legitimate rapes since they became pregnant? rape and pregnancy is a womans issue, always will be and you have nothing to say?

Hi Bobby! Happy New Year, and great to see you. Sounds like a very worthy donation to me, given the number of anti-choice extremists who think murdering abortion providers is a "good" thing.

I don't think the intent of a rapist, in general, is to procreate, no.
This is the huge question you required me to respond to?
I don't think I've ever made statements on this board concerning rape. Should I?

I mean, are you contending that the majority of LTA's or abortions in general are for rape victims?

You were struggling...I mean trying to use "intent" as an argument. Pay attention.

You see Dan, women can become pregnant due to rape. Men cannot, thus the lack of understanding?

Considering "intent" would the raped woman/girl have the intent to procreate? Tough questions, but I am sure the answer from the RCC would be "yes", or "that is what god intended".

Not contending majority at all, but I am contending that it happens and is part of this debate and consideration...right Dan?

I think I'd regard it as an outlier, unless you're telling me that rape is statistically significant respective to LTA's.

I'd not heard that to be the case, and one of the more noted practicioners (Leroy Carhart) was from my area and never made that claim himself to my recollection.
