Is there really a home remedy that can induce an abortion?

Jul 11, 2008 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: KVUE

It's not a "home remedy" In my opinion a child is not something you can just rid or cure yourself from. Ugh! It is a pill you recieve from an abortion clinic and the process is very painful and can be frightening or scarring.

There are many substances that can cause or at least increase the chance of a miscarriage, such as caffeine or birth control pills. Herbal abortifacients go back at least to the babylonian empire.

I'm thinking that some good advice for you, might be to go speak to someone that will guide you in the right direction, someone you trust that will help you, and give you SMART advice.
Go and see someone, don't do anything that could possibly harm yourself!!!

I agree. ONLY have an abortion in a qualified clinic using licensed physicians. Only get the MAP or RU468 from licensed pharmacists.

Glad we agree on something.
Perhaps the "professional" she would decide to see might help her to decide that abortion is not the answer, and to rethink her options!!! Wow that would be awesome!!!!!

It's always the woman's choice. Are you under the mistaken impression that we would be upset at a woman making a choice to give birth?

Yes, there are herbal abortifacients. However, like any herbal remedy, they can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. If one decides to abort, and the timing is right for them, the MAP and RU486, under the guidance of a medical professional, is the better option.

I meant to say that perhaps the "professional" would help her to decide that abortion may not be the answer, and to rethink her options.

Yes, I know that it's always the woman's choice, and just maybe she will choose to keep the baby!!

Maybe she will. I'll ask you again, are you under the mistaken impression that we would be upset if she did?

NO!! All I'm trying to say is that maybe she will possibly change her mind. What she does is completely up to her, and whatever she chooses she will have to live with whatever decision she makes. It would be an awesome ending if she changes her mind, and decides to continue with the pregnancy, and give the child up if she's not ready to become a mother!
As far as you being upset, or not being upset is your doing, and nothing to do with me, feel or think what you want, as I will do the same!!!

Not really. A true medical professional doesn't work against the patient's wishes. You have no right to decide what is best for her.

How would having an unwanted pregnancy and childbirth be "the answer" to any problem?

Why would having a kid you don't want be "awesome"? Whatever reasons the woman had to abort in the first place would likely still be in place, and then they ADD to the problems by the risks and problems of pregnancy. And not every woman who gives birth could give up a child to adoption, so now she has a kid she didn't want and probably can't care for properly.

But who cares; it's been born, so your interest immediately wanes.

She may take that as a Doctor, or a mentor who she trusts, the Doctor will tell her of all the risks, and she may not want to take that risk, and decide to have the child, doesn't mean that all person's would tell her to abort!! So hopefully she talks to someone she trusts, and they guide her on the right path (not to abort!!)

Any doctor who tells a woman that abortion is more dangerous than pregnancy or childbirth should lose his license--and very well could. Cold hard facts show that abortion is nowhere near as dangerous as either condition.

So is pregnancy and birth. Which is why it remains EACH woman's decision, no one else's.

Yes, again it is everyones own decision, but even if I can just change one person's mind not to go through with an abortion, that is one life that I have saved, and that to me is AWESOME!!!!!
