It's axiomatic. Pro-aborts don't don't come close to funding their abortuaries adequately. When government bailouts to Planned Parenthood stop, Big Abortion's abortuaries go out of business.

It's also axiomatic. Pro-lifers keep their pregnancy medical clinics open through private donations.

A notice to patients posted on the Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin (PPWI) website lists the closure among three others scheduled to close between April and July of this year. The closures include:

Beaver Dam – Closed June 14, 2013
Chippewa Falls – Closed May 17, 2013
Johnson Creek – Closing July 19, 2013
Shawano – Closed April 19, 2013

With a statement that said,“These closures are a direct consequence of the legislature’s elimination of funding benefiting patients at Planned Parenthood in the last budget cycle,” PPWI announced in February that it would be closing the four facilities.

In a February statement to LifeSiteNews, Pro-Life Wisconsin legislative director Matt Sande said,“Wisconsin taxpayers who conscientiously oppose the use of public funds to directly or indirectly subsidize abortion applauded last session’s state budget bill partially defunding Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, the state’s largest abortion provider.... Today they welcome Planned Parenthood’s decision to close four of its state funded birth control centers, centers that refer for surgical abortion and dispense abortifacient contraceptives—often to minor children without parental notification. Pro-Life Wisconsin will continue its hard work to totally defund Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin of all public funds.”

Congratulations to Pro-Life Wisconsin and all those who have worked diligently to ensure the ongoing closure of Planned Parenthood facilities across the state.

I don't think Wisconsin is a theocracy.

Love it when pro-aborts have public, paranoid meltdowns!

Earth to the Sheik: The government didn't close the abortuaries in Wisconsin. It simply declined to fund killing the unborn.

Take a lesson from pro-lifers who privately fund more than 2,300 pregnancy medical clinics: Stop whining, get out your checkbook, and support your abortuaries so they don't have to be dependent on government handouts.

And thus the GOAL of the anti choice movement in lock step with the CC:

""Today they welcome Planned Parenthood’s decision to close four of its state funded birth control centers centers that refer for surgical abortion and dispense abortifacient contraceptives""

The Catholic Church teaches that “each and every marriage act must remain open to the transmission of human life,” and thereby excludes “every action…to render procreation impossible”. The Church also teaches that a couple can naturally and morally postpone pregnancy by not having sex during the woman’s fertile period.

Mainstream contraceptives have killed millions

Doughart’s essential argument that contraception ought to make sense to “anyone who is genuinely interested in reducing abortion” appears logical at first glance, until it is pointed out that mainstream methods of contraception — such as the pill and IUD — act as an abortifacient to the newly created human being. In other words, contraceptive drugs destroy newly created human life in its zygote stage.

The manufacturers of hormonal contraceptives write in their product monographs that if their product does not prevent ovulation, and if it does not sufficiently thicken the cervical mucus to prevent sperm from reaching the ovum, then it ultimately changes the woman’s uterine wall to prevent implantation of a newly conceived human life.

Experts call the death toll from hormonal contraceptives “staggering”.

"Planned Parenthood maintains 23 additional clinics, including three that perform surgical abortions."

It's interesting that they didn't close any of the centers that provide abortion services. Seeing as abortion is the objection wouldn't it make more sense to stop offering abortions so that they could continue to offer other services?

Stop offering abortions? To an abortion supporter, that kind of heresy would get you burned at the stake.

But your valid point remains: Abortion is the sacrament -- and the big moneymaker -- of the "choice" religion. All the choicers' dissembling about "family planning" and "reproductive health" is revealed as empty rhetoric whenever the movement's sacramental abortion is threatened.

Want proof?

Planned Parenthood's 2011-12 annual report [ http://www.plannedparenthood.org/about-us/ann... ] indicated that Planned Parenthood performed a record-high 333,964 abortions during 2011.

This rise in abortions was coupled with a continued decrease in non-abortive services. Since 2009, the total number of contraceptive services has dropped by 12 percent, and cancer screening and prevention services have dropped by 29 percent.

Wouldn't you think that they would do all that they can to continue to provide the other 97% of their services (because rumor has it that abortion only makes up 3% of their services)? I mean really, if they care so much about women......

CPCs are not "pregnancy medical clinics". They are Welfare referral offices, no more.

And thus another tangential non sequitur from an abortion acolyte.

The issues raised in the article, which you understandably didn't address, are

** the Wisconsin government's refusal to fund organizations whose biggest revenue stream comes from killing the unborn,

** the resultant closure of government-dependent Planned Parenthood clinics, and

** the fact that abortion supporters don't put their money where their endlessly flapping mouths are.

Pro-lifers have no problem keeping their pregnancy medical clinics operating through private donations. So why aren't you and your abortion-promoting buddies sending enough money to reopen those Wisconsin clinics?

Be sure to let us know when you get those clinics reopened, won't you?

Why should they stop offering a legal medical procedure that's obviously wanted by the women asking for it? Just because busybodies like YOU don't like it?

And why should taxpayers be dragooned into ponying up the bulk of the revenue for abortuaries that shiftless no-accounts like you are too cheap to fund with your own donations?

" The new [Planned Parenthood annual] report also reveals 46 percent of the total PPFA budget comes from taxpayer dollars in the form of government funding. At the same time, just 21 percent of the income the abortion business brings in comes from private donors (it lists 528,000 active donors) while 31 percent of its revenue is derived from abortions, i.e.“non-government health services revenue."

If they really cared about woman like they claim, wouldn't it make sense to sacrifice 3% of their services so that they can continue to provide the other 97% of their services? It doesn't appear that the 97% is really all that important to them.

Abortions ARE funded through donations, or paid for by the woman.

Why would YOU object to your taxes paying part of low cost healthcare, such as cancer screening, wellness exams, and in some clinics pre-natal care?

The question was not how much they make, but where taxpayer money goes, and it is NOT going for abortions.

They do care about women, and so they offer ALL the legal medical services that women ask for. Why should they have to do otherwise, just because YOU don't like one of those services?

3% rings the cash register to the tune of 45% of their operating revenue.

They'll keep the 3% any chance they get.

They care so much about women that they are willing to deny them ALL services just because they can't provide abortion? It sounds like a 5 year old who packs up their toys and goes home because they don't get their way.

If you had 100 women standing in front of you and you could either help 3 or 97, would you turn your back on all 100 because you couldn't help 3? Or would you help 3 and deny 97? Or would you help 97?

What baloney.

According to the MN Dept. of Human Services, Minnesota taxpayers funded 34 percent of Minnesota's abortions in 2011 (the most recent year's report available: http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/chs/abrpt/... ], paying $1,215,500 for 3,693 abortions.

Since 1995, Minnesotans have funded more than 62,000 abortions at a cost of $19.9 million, according to the report from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). Nearly all of these abortions have been elective.

They don't do the very important service of providing mamograms. They refer them out. Couldn't they do the same with abortions especially since it is only 3% of their business?
