Obama's post election "bounce" comes from all the Democrats who were disappointed with him before the election, yet like sheep still voted for him again, and now have to live with the results.

You think they are going to admit they were wrong? Liberals never do that.

As for Republicans? Freedom loving Americans despised Obama's socialist policies for the first four years, we despise them even more now that they are being forced upon us for four more years by the ninnies who voted for the nanny state.

We're just going to dig in our heels, tighten our belts even further, and look for ways to offset the onerous new ObamaCare taxes that are kicking in next year.

If that means layoffs and reducing investment, so be it.

The problem with progressive Dems is unless you agree 100% with their agendas and beliefs it is cause for insults, slanders, accusations and personal destruction. Conservatives which in reality believe in a healthy amount of progressive believe in some of their mantra and they are blistered worse then moderates who may believe in 80% of the progressives utopian desires that will fail because of a lack of resources. Until we make cuts with the idea of cleaning up the corruption from all, we are headed downward and this will not stop for at least a couple of decades easily.

Why Liberals Are More Intelligent Than Conservatives
Liberals think they’re more intelligent than conservatives because they are

It is difficult to define a whole school of political ideology precisely, but one may reasonably define liberalism (as opposed to conservatism) in the contemporary United States as the genuine concern for the welfare of genetically unrelated others and the willingness to contribute larger proportions of private resources for the welfare of such others. In the modern political and economic context, this willingness usually translates into paying higher proportions of individual incomes in taxes toward the government and its social welfare programs. Liberals usually support such social welfare programs and higher taxes to finance them, and conservatives usually oppose them.

Defined as such, liberalism is evolutionarily novel. Humans (like other species) are evolutionarily designed to be altruistic toward their genetic kin, their friends and allies, and members of their deme (a group of intermarrying individuals) or ethnic group. They are not designed to be altruistic toward an indefinite number of complete strangers whom they are not likely ever to meet or interact with. This is largely because our ancestors lived in a small band of 50-150 genetically related individuals, and large cities and nations with thousands and millions of people are themselves evolutionarily novel.

The examination of the 10-volume compendium The Encyclopedia of World Cultures, which describes all human cultures known to anthropology (more than 1,500) in great detail, as well as extensive primary ethnographies of traditional societies, reveals that liberalism as defined above is absent in these traditional cultures. While sharing of resources, especially food, is quite common and often mandatory among hunter-gatherer tribes, and while trade with neighboring tribes often takes place, there is no evidence that people in contemporary hunter-gatherer bands freely share resources with members of other tribes.

Because all members of a hunter-gatherer tribe are genetic kin or at the very least friends and allies for life, sharing resources among them does not qualify as an expression of liberalism as defined above. Given its absence in the contemporary hunter-gatherer tribes, which are often used as modern-day analogs of our ancestral life, it may be reasonable to infer that sharing of resources with total strangers that one has never met or is not likely ever to meet – that is, liberalism – was not part of our ancestral life. Liberalism may therefore be evolutionarily novel, and the Hypothesis would predict that more intelligent individuals are more likely than less intelligent individuals to espouse liberalism as a value.

Analyses of large representative samples, from both the United States and the United Kingdom, confirm this prediction. In both countries, more intelligent children are more likely to grow up to be liberals than less intelligent children. For example, among the American sample, those who identify themselves as “very liberal” in early adulthood have a mean childhood IQ of 106.4, whereas those who identify themselves as “very conservative” in early adulthood have a mean childhood IQ of 94.8.

ratliff, I take it you are one of those liberals you seem so proud of? Thank you for telling us how much better you are than we are. but for a while you can give it a rest. get back to us when you liberals can figure out stuff like how to make payroll, or how to build a better mousetrap. knowing how to order properly at Starbucks, or enjoying films with subtitles won't do you much good in the real world.

I am betting that you can break down those IQ statements from a general statement to many that are more specific. then you will find the truth when it comes to IQ. Again most people have liberal beliefs. It is just the amount that there are disagreements on. This nation will collapse or be very different as tyranny will be the rule of the day at some point. Already part of the way there. I guarantee you the lower IQ people will not fair well when that day comes. But since they are conservatives, your off the hook.

NOTHING that Mr. Obama does would "endear him to Republicans." They hate his guts, all the more so since he beat their guy Mitt. And since Benghazi isn't working out for them and impeachment looks like a forlorn hope, they're increasingly angry and resentful over that, too. Just wait 'til the GOP reaches a rational agreement on the deficit and the debt ceiling - many heads may be exploding on the Republican side, especially in the Tea Party and on the far Right.

And if the next four years continue to go better, as the last four did, they'll have to face Hillary for President in 2016. Woe is them!:)

Actually, calling an Electoral College margin of 332 - 206 a "landslide" would be pretty accurate.

Morris had it 325-213 Romney, and called that a "landslide," so...

OH really? Who start the war on women? The Democrats and Obama aided by their ever faithful lapdog, the liberal MSM. They denigrated Republicans from the start of the campaign. Playing dirty pool and doing smoke & mirrors - yep, the Democrats were hate-filled and divisive from the get go as Obama used every tactic from the Sal Alinsky playbook.

http://www.theplanetbuzz.com/political-buzz/p...
" Although Alinsky died in 1972, his methods survived through his protégés and his books, one being Rules for Radicals, which he essentially dedicated to "the original radical" Satan.

Barak Obama is now the most famous “graduate” of the Alinsky school of agitation and provocation. Mike Kruglik, a “direct descendant” of Alinsky, who was Obama’s Chicago instructor in Alinsky’s teachings, said Obama was the best student of Alinsky tactics he had ever had. Kruglik went on to say Obama was “an undisputed master of agitation” who “could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid fire Socratic dialogue…” Obama himself described the four years he spent learning the science of Alinsky’s community organizing as “the best education of his life.” This is a telling statement from a man who studied at Columbia and Harvard. The underlying tenet in the Alinsky method is no different than the Communist rationalization; the ends justify the means. An end that is achieved by deception and bully tactics is entirely justified, according to Alinsky."
...
"To understand who President Obama really is and why his tactics have succeeded, we must first learn the essence of Saul Alinsky. Alinsky was a radical, left-wing organizer, born in Chicago in 1909. He was the son of Russian-Jewish immigrants. He was a Communist and Socialist sympathizer, although not an admitted member of either movement. Alinsky’s main goal was to transform the “Have-nots” into the “Haves” by organizing the down trodden into raucous mobs who demand concessions from governments, employers, and the community at large. Although a well-intended, altruistic goal, it is the methods and tactics Alinsky employed which deserve a closer examination. His tactics were based on certain principles he acquired along his radical journey. His main tactic : no matter what you do, you should always appeal to the person’s self-interests. Alinsky also believed that in order to gain a group’s trust, you must adopt their ways; eat where they eat, worship where they worship, etc. This is how Barak Obama became part of Reverend Wright’s congregation; more on this later. Alinsky often said “to beat your enemies, you first have to seduce your allies.”
...
" The following passage from Rules for Radicals may provide the clearest window into President Obama’s soul…”The man of action views the issues of means and ends in pragmatic and strategic terms, he asks for ends only. Whether they are achievable and worthy the cost of means, only whether they will work. To say that a corrupt means corrupt the ends is to believe in the immaculate conception of ends and principles. The real arena is corrupt and bloody. Life is a corrupting process. He who fears corruption fears life.” He goes on to say that a leader who places his personal conscience and personal salvation first,“does not care enough for the people to be corrupted for them.”
