Hmmm, funny I was under the impression the debate was in Danville Kentucky. But I must be wrong, we all know the laser accuracy of Fox News when it comes to fact checking.

What a moron: "When you say it's OK to impose these devastating cuts on our military…that we don't need any more Lima-built M1 tanks, what we are doing is we're projecting weakness, and when we project weakness abroad our enemies become more brazen,"

Been on an active battlefield in the 21st century? Your draft-dodger running mate hasn't either and he missed the war he "longed" for while sending love letters and french postcards to his gal-pal.

You might ask the destroyed Iraqi Republican Guard how effective tank warfare was on that "Mile of Death" where their armor (tanks) were ground up by an application of combined arms - Infantry, Artillery and tactical air.

The era of tank warfare has long been relegated to to the ancient strategies, tactics and weapon of history of the "cold war era" and are "old school" and not effective on modern battlefields in the kinds of conflicts in the places we are fighting. Kinda like the limp-dicked GOP presidential duo of the Mitt the draft dodger and his faithful servant boy Ryan.

Today, tanks are easy targets for armed drones, attack helicopters, and tactical air weapons utilizing stand-off weapons fired from far away from the target. The Army may keep some tanks around for their occasional utility but Armor (tank)warfare is gone the way of horse cavalry.

Dumb and Dumber on the podium, Romney and Ryan, are too stupid to know what just about any veteran alive today knows - oh that's right, neither of them ever served a minute in combat and Romney ran from his obligation to serve in Vietnam.

Not too many, if any, force or group of terrorists wants to engage the USA on any battlefield. The only morons who believe in the myth of diminished US military strength are the two numb-nuts running for Commander-In-Chief as Republicans.
