Where the debt came from.

What I do not get is even the people on Fox admit Bush was so bad that he could not even go to the Republican convention, yet low IQ folks sit in here and try to defend Bush because they think Fox TV wants them to because Fox TV says just blame one party for everything and those who are too lazy to read books or take classes simply repeat the TV. Even Fox hates Bush but the Fox followers have no clue.

You people waste forever fighting over R and D. You're not even fighting over the right things. Both parties spend and spend and took the U.S. down with their bad policies. Fk the TV. Get a clue. Bush ran up $5 trillion of debt, Obama then ran up $5 trillion of debt. Bush handed out huge socialism, welfare via free drugs for everyone on Medicare, Obama hands out welfare. Bush created more regulations than any other president and doubled the size of the Dept. of Education with his No Child Left Behind policy which made his family a lot of money as they own the testing company that adminsters the tests for NCLB. Bush let 50,000 American businesses move to China between 2000 and 2008, he did 9/11 in order to be able to invade Iraq to get the oil in Iraq for Exxon and BP. He gave everyone a tax cut, did a stimulus and sent everyone a check and gave seniors free drugs to keep everyone happy so he could invade Iraq to get the oil for the major oil companies, then the debt from the wars and from the tax cuts and from the free drugs all came crashing down while the banks collapsed, the real estate market collapsed and 8 million people got laid off, and this is WHY Obama got reelected. As bad as he is people are still so terrified of getting another Bush.

And then the know nothing Fox drones think the solution is to support Bush, defend Bush because they think Fox TV is telling them to do so. How about all of you support Ron Paul, get rid of both parrties, stop lying that either Bush or Obama is one bit good or has one clue what they are doing or what to do?? It's not about god damned TV channels for Christ's sake. We have totally corrupt and incompetent politicians, that is why your country has gone under, and it is BOTH parties and no amount of fighting to defend one or the other completely failed party is going to solve one damned thing.

You're fighting with each other over which dying corrupt sick incompetent party is better than the other and trying to blame what both parties do all on one party as if, if only you can just blame one side, all will be well, all will be overwith and all will be fixed for you. Life does not work like that. Try being honest, try some critical thinking for once in your lives, and turn the TV crap and propaganda off already.

Each party ran up $5 trillion of debt in the last 10 years, so shut the hell up that D or R is better. They are ALL bad. Get a clue.

An Applebee’s New York area franchisee is the latest CEO to go public threatening drastic plans to avoid costs associated with the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.

“We’ve calculated it will [cost] some millions of dollars across our system. So what does that say — that says we won’t build more restaurants. We won’t hire more people,” Zane Tankel, chairman and CEO of Apple-Metro, told Fox Business Network on Thursday.

Apple-Metro, which runs 40 Applebee’s restaurants, employs from 80 to 300 people at each of its locations. Obamacare mandates that businesses with more than 50 workers must offer an approved insurance plan or pay a penalty of $2,000 for each full-time worker over 30 workers.

Most small businesses with 50 or more employees already do offer health insurance, notes John Arensmeyer, CEO and founder of Small Business Majority, a national small business advocacy organization. But restaurant chains typically are among the sliver of businesses not offering insurance to workers. Other food chains have commented publicly that they would take strong measures.

UPDATE I: John Schnatter, Papa John’s CEO, Says he will likely have to raise costs and cut employee hours because of Obamacare.

A day after Barack Obama earned a second term in the White House, Papa John’s founder and CEO John Schnatter said the president’s signature health-care reform law would increase his business costs and possibly result in employees’ hours being cut.

Schnatter, a part-time Naples resident, made the comments Wednesday night inside a small auditorium at Edison State College’s Collier County campus. In August, he made national headlines after telling shareholders the Affordable Care Act — commonly known as Obamacare — would result in a 10- to 14-cent increase for customers buying a pizza.

“I got in a bunch of trouble for this,” he told the students.“That’s what you do, is you pass on costs. Unfortunately, I don’t think people know what they’re going to pay for this.”

Reagan was a moderate and he did an amnesty. Fox has NO one to sell you as a good Republican president. Bush was soooooo bad, they have to go all the way back to the 1970s and sell you Reagan to try and control the elections. Fox was made to get Repubs elected. It has not one thing to do with news.

<quoted text>Ronald Reagan on Franklin Roosevelt: The Significance of Style
K. Alan Snyder - 08/20/08

Reagan was a New Deal Democrat. He joked that he had probably become a Democrat by birth, given that his father, Jack, was so devoted to the Democratic Party. The younger Reagan cast his first presidential vote in 1932 for Franklin Roosevelt, and did so again in the succeeding three presidential contests. His faith in FDR remained undimmed even after World War II, when he called himself “a New Dealer to the core.” He summarized his views in this way:“I thought government could solve all our postwar problems just as it had ended the Depression and won the war. I didn’t trust big business. I thought government, not private companies, should own our big public utilities; if there wasn’t enough housing to shelter the American people, I thought government should build it; if we needed better medical care, the answer was socialized medicine.” When his brother, Moon, became a Republican and argued with his sibling, the younger Reagan concluded “he was just spouting Republican propaganda.”

Bush ran up $5 trillion of debt, doubled the size of the Dept. of Education, did same things Obama does. It doesn't matter if D or R is in office. They ALL took the world super power down by piling debt onto it over the last 12 years. You people are pretending that one party or the other gives one crap about any of us or that either party has one clue what they are doing. They don't, which is why the U.S. is collapsing. There is NO one good party. Look at all of those fools up in Washington kicking the can down the road again. Not a ONE of them has one real plan how to stop borrowing money. They are not cutting one thing, none of them. It's same old 12 years of not one real thing has ever been done and the country is going under from it.

You put Dems in there they run up debt for welfare and government pensions. YOu put Repubs in there they run up debt on oil wars for oil companies, they use the government as a vehicle to make them billions off of wars and fracking for gas. ALL Cheney ever did is make himself billions on every land grab and oil war and prescription drug deal he could come up with. He saw being VP as business deals for him, nothing more.

Oct 1, 2012 – FACT CHECKER | It's time for Obama to retire the talking point that Bush tax cuts and deregulation caused the 2008 economic crisis.

"The Facts

We should stipulate at the outset that Romney adamantly rejects the idea that he has proposed more tax cuts for the wealthy. His plan would cut tax rates, but also eliminate tax deductions, which he says would make the plan revenue neutral. But no one has proven that his numbers add up, and the respected nonpartisan Tax Policy Center concluded that the available details on the Romney plan suggest taxes would decrease for the wealthy but rise for the middle class.

Romney has advocated repealing the Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill. As for the role of deregulation in the crisis, there certainly has been news reporting showing that the Bush administration generally took a hands- off approach to regulating financial institutions.

But others would note the irony of Clinton citing the perils of deregulation under Bush because he also is culpable. Clinton signed into law a repeal of the Glass-Steagall law that separated commercial and investment banks — a policy shift that some have said also played a role in the economic crisis. Moreover, Clinton also signed into law the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, which essentially removed derivatives contracts from regulatory oversight. By many accounts, derivatives, such as the credit default swap, were at the heart of the financial crisis.

Indeed, Clinton has admitted that he was given wrong advice about the need to regulate derivatives contracts.“I think they were wrong, and I think I was wrong to take” their advice, Clinton said of his economic advisers.

The Dodd-Frank bill tightened regulations on derivatives contracts, thus reversing the decision that Clinton — not Bush — had made.

While one can argue whether deregulation under Clinton or Bush played a bigger role in the financial crisis, the notion that the Bush tax cuts “led” to the 2008 crisis is especially puzzling. "

Wise up, dummies.
If the Bush tax cuts were so bad why did your little dictator extended them?

If they were only for the rich, why did you affirmative action case president extended them?

Let's hear the silence...

The economic numbers don't lie. Take a look for yourself:
http://forecast-chart.com/chart-gdp-rate.html

The economy grew every single quarter until Q4 of 2008. That's solid continual economic growth that directly resulted from the Bush Tax Cuts.

The economy didn't take a shit until a year and a half after Democrats took over Congress and their socialist policies were in place
