Senator Saxby Chambliss this week became the latest Republican lawmaker to loosen his ties to Grover Norquist, the anti-tax lobbyist famous for getting elected officials to sign a "taxpayer protection pledge." The Wheels are falling off of the Republicans Covered Wagon.

Next move that will prove a disaster for the GOP is going over the mythical Fiscal Cliff in protesting against the Tax Cuts for the American Middle Class to protect the top income earners tax rates.

Seems to me the Republicans are slashing their own throats with this move. Even after going over the Fiscal Cliff, what can be accomplished in refusing to reenact the Middle Class Tax cuts as many suspect the Republicans will.

And you think Republicans will join Democrats in increasing taxes? In your dreams. You have the same stagnant government you had for the last 4 years.

One by one, each of these republicans will fall in line behind the real leadership of President Obama as he implements exactly what his mandate gives him the power to do.

No one is increasing taxes. The Bush GOP tax cuts are set to expire. They were TEMPORARY. The Democrats will fight though to extend the tax cuts to the working middle class. The question is: will the GOP TEA RINOs hold the middle class tax cuts hostage like they did the payroll tax cuts unless the rich 1% get a tax cut as well?

The GOP TEA RINOs are in a lose-lose situation.

The issue isn't increasing taxes, but whether the Republicans will assist the democrats in providing a "Tax Cut" for the American Middle Class Earners after Jan 1, 2013.

The Republicans will either vote for or against a tax cut for 98% of America's earners.

The democrats do not know what the middle class is about. The "middle class" for the democrats is unions and we all know that they are bleeding the states dry.

It is not a tax cut, but keeping the BUSH era tax cuts in place. Obama is keeping what BUSH started. Therefore, there are no further tax cuts Sweetie or are you that stupid or liberal. Obama is adopting the BUSH tax cuts as his own, but we all know the truth. Too bad he is trying to destroy small businesses by taking away their tax cuts.

Of course they will - it's all they know how to do. Well, that and deficit-spend like madmen, since, in the immortal words of Darth Cheney, "Deficits don't matter."

And the beat goes on.

I just wish an Obama Presidency hadn't been necessary - we should have run Huntsman, but the GOP didn't want a Republican presiding over this mess.

For the 1,000 time as many have attempted to inform you, fool. Nobama does NOT have a mandate. He didn't win but barely over half the votes in the country. Go back to JC government class, you missed last time, moron.

Obama knows he's caused deep division within the country because of his class warfare hate rhetoric and his Socialist extremist nutjob policies...This is why he has to work with the GOP and is begging and with Romney to help him fix the economy.

STFU loser, you never had any credibility but it was really exposed when you came on here for the last 4 years spewing doom and gloom as you predicted that Obama would lose in 2012. We won as we re-elected President Obama with a mandate you buffoon; even right-wing commentators on fox news has said that Obama has a mandate… you are so desperate, and we are laughing at your pain.

RESIZE:
AAA
Print9Mandate: 2. An authorization to act given to a representative.

–Merriam-Webster

In the two weeks since the election, pundits and politicians have been debating whether Barack Obama has been given a mandate to advance his party’s agenda. Post-election analysis shows that Obama and his allies do not have a mandate to expand government or pursue a more liberal agenda.

Why don't you GTF out of our country, jerkoff, until you understand how it works?
