I agree, and know what saying but the way Social Security Act was originally setup is outdated because we dont have the employment base in this country either like we use to and all the Federal Government has been doing to makeup the lost revenue is increasing the Social Security tax on Employees & Employers which is not helping job creation either.

The ACA is in no way connected or related to the Social Security Act.

Given an options, wage earners in America will option to increase funding from their wages to satisfy Social Security and Medicare. When asked under Reagan the option was simple. What needs to happen is that all income in America should be deducted for Social Security, however, that's one solution that generates a head wind against.

Social Security and Medicare are exclusively funded by America's Middle Class and Low Income wage earners.$7 Billion of the $15 Billion in national debt belongs to those Trust Funds.

If the Republicans succeed in dismantling those programs , as have always been their aim then that $7 Billion debt to seniors vanishes.
