It would be nice to see someone take on big banking and its predatory lending. Unfortunately, both parties passed that infamous bankruptcy reform bill back in 2005 so none of them appear to have any sort of moral high ground on this issue. In Obama's defense, he is one of 25 Senators who had the gutts to vote against it.

Why didn't you crack down on lenders while you are in the Senate?(Did you sponsor the broker CRACKDOWN act of 2005?) Why do you have to wait until u r Pres? Why don't you just keep interest rates low so people who overbought can pay down their mortgage? HuuH? A $10 B bailout just means people are not held accountable for their own bad judgment? I "HOPE" you "CHANGE" the perception that gov't will always bail you out.

Preaching hope, inspiration, change, with no substance, no specifics, no media challenge, and media fawning, Obama is instructive of how demagogues rise to power to inflict horrors on humanity.

Sen. Obama, when did you supervise more than a handful of staff, moreless create any private sector jobs ? Government doesn't create jobs, the private sector does. I HOPE you that you cannot CHANGE what you have not done.

You do not know how to suprervise lots of people, otherwise you would have done it by now. You do not know how to create jobs, otherwise you would have done it by now. So I HOPE you are smart enough to CHANGE what you say, because even as Presient, you cannot create any jobs.

This guy runs the smoothest, most well-organized campaign and has policy plans in place, that include everyone. He's sincere, capable and has the guts to make changes happen. He handles criticism and challenges with collected calm. He's also got the confidence it takes to run the show and knows how to deal with the other side to boot. He has a rare ability to make people pay attention and that will work well for our country in every regard. He'll be a welcome change from the lazy Bush administration, who accomplished nothing more than losing us mega money and precious lives. He'll bring the jobs back to us and keep the money where it belongs. Count me in for Obama 2008.

The more you see of Obama, the more you hear the stump speech, the more you really listen to him, you realize two things:
1. His wispy notion of change isn’t linked to anything except socialist policies he’s dressing prettily in rhetorical gauze.
2. He tends to drone on. When you dip into one of these speeches and listen for a moment or two, he blows you away. When you stay for the whole thing and really listen, you realize the emperor doesn’t have many clothes.
Hillary Clinton is no speaker. She’s no Natural. And she doesn’t have his “O”mentum. But she has one final shot to expose the man behind the curtain. He’s not the Great and Powerful Oz. He’s a politician with some major weaknesses.

People can vote for any candidate they want! You still have that right, so exercise it instead of complaining.

yeah um...right. Won't hold my breath on the job issue. He just wants votes. And though I am a democrat, he puts me in mind of Jimmy Carter. Nice guy...no backbone.
Too bad most people that are backing him aren't really paying attention to other than the fact he may be the first bi-racial president. Look at his skills first, race later.

Signs of Facism
1. sense of overwhelming crisis beyond reach of traditional solutions;
2. belief one’s group is the victim, justifying any action without moral limits;
3. need for authority by a natural leader above the law, relying on the superiority of his instincts;
4. right of the chosen people(Liberal Democrats) to dominate others (white men, Christians, Catholics) without legal or moral restraint

ISN'T THAT ABOUT THE OLDEST, MOST UNORIGINAL

I don't care who gets in, as long as we don't have another 4 years of a Republican in the White House. Chances are, a Republican won't clean up all the turds that BUSH left laying around.

Just another empty suit spewing hope and change. Can't all you sheeple see that he is just another politician? The President is just a governmental figurehead. The real power in government is outside buying their way in through the Senators and Representatives that keep getting reelected. There's where you need a change. Someone that is not in the back pocket of bankers, oilmen, special interest, lobbyists, etc. The only way this idiot could bring jobs back to Ohio is to kick all illegals out of this country and force the welfare recipients to take the vacated jobs or lose their place at the trough.
