Poll: Majority Supports Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants

Nov 14, 2012 Full story: KVOR-AM Colorado Springs 1,475

Most Americans support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, an issue that may be high on the agenda of newly re-elected President Obama and the 113th Congress, given the increased importance of nonwhites -- including Hispanic voters -- in the nation's political equation.

Yes, unlike the "Democrats" and illegal aliens who would have been whining for the next six months if B.O. had lost! lol

Now it's time for B.O to fish or cut bait, the days of his whining

"It's Bush's fault", It's Bush's fault" are over.

... but he's deported more criminal aliens in one term than Bush did in two. That's a readily known fact. How do you get over that one?

In his second, he won't have to whine about anything, since it'll be his last term. You guys need to change your modus operandi, when dealing with certain segments of the population you may depend/need on to win. If you don't, 2016 will render the same results.

Obama Amnesty Begins: Halts Deportations for 300,000 Illegal Aliens; Offers 'Work Permits'

by John Hill

Stand With Arizona

The Obama Administration today announced a virtual amnesty-by-decree for
hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, whose deportations will be
"indefinitely delayed". In addition, Obama finally announced a jobs
program - but for ILLEGAL ALIENS, not citizens - as those 300,000 illegals
will also become eligible for "work permits".

This action represents an administrative end-run around Congress, which
twice rejected the 'DREAM Act' in 2010. As disgraceful as is this usurpation
of Congressional authority, this announcement is even worse than is being
reported.

Our analysis reveals that - despite media focus of this action limited to
so-called "Dreamer" illegal students, this new policy, coupled with the
criteria established by the June 2011 "Morton Memos" which set up a joint
"DHS and DOJ working group" could expand this "indefinite delay" of
deportation to potentially MILLIONS of illegals - creating a new, massive
amnesty entirely by fiat, bypassing Congress.

Obama on Illegal Immigration: Stay and Succeed

3/28/11 Obama tells a student with a deportation letter that he doesn't want
to deport her. In fact, she's a good citizen and should stay in the country.

So B.O. wants to ignore our Immigration Laws?

Obama: "We Are All Connected" Whether You Crossed Rio Grande Or Landed on
Ellis Island

"No matter who you are. No matter where you can came from. No matter what
you look like. No matter whether your ancestors landed here on Ellis Island
or came here on slave ships or came across the Rio Grande, we are all
connected. We will rise and fall together. That's the vision of America I've
got, that's the idea of the heart of America," President Obama said at a
fundraiser in San Francisco.

"That's the idea of the heart of our campaign," Obama added.

President Bush Signs Secure Fence Act

Speech:

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you all. Thanks. Please be seated. I'm pleased that you
all are here to witness the signature of the Secure Fence Act of 2006. This
bill will help protect the American people. This bill will make our borders
more secure. It is an important step toward immigration reform.

I want to thank the members of Congress for their work on this important
piece of legislation. I welcome you here to the White House. I'm looking
forward to signing this bill.

President George W. Bush signs H.R. 6061, the Secure Fence Act of 2006, in
the Roosevelt Room Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006. Pictured with the President are,
from left: Commissioner Ralph Basham of U.S. Customs and Border Protection;
Chief David Aguilar of U.S. Customs and Border Protection; Congressman Peter
King, R-N.Y.; Congressman John Boehner, R-Ohio; and Deputy Secretary Michael
Jackson of the Department of Homeland Security; and Senator Bill Frist,
R-Tenn. White House photo by Kimberlee HewittI appreciate the Vice President
joining us today. I thank the Deputy Secretary, Michael Jackson, of the
Department of Homeland Security. Rob Portman -- he happens to be the
Director of OMB. I want to thank Ralph Basham, who is the Commissioner of
the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. David Aguilar is the Chief of the
U.S. Border Patrol.

I appreciate the fact that Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has joined us,
as well as House Majority Leader John Boehner. I appreciate them coming in
from their respective states as I sign this piece of legislation. I want to
thank Congressman Peter King, who's the Chairman of the Homeland Security
Committee in the House of Representatives. I appreciate you being here,
Peter.

Ours is a nation of immigrants. We're also a nation of law. Unfortunately,
the United States has not been in complete control of its borders for
decades and, therefore, illegal immigration has been on the rise. We have a
responsibility to address these challenges. We have a responsibility to
enforce our laws. We have a responsibility to secure our borders. We take
this responsibility seriously.

Earlier this year, I addressed the nation from the Oval Office. I laid out
our strategy for immigration reform. Part of that strategy begins with
securing the border. Since I took office we have more than doubled funding
for border security -- from $4.6 billion in 2001 to $10.4 billion this year.
We've increased the number of Border Patrol agents from about 9,000 to more
than 12,000, and by the end of 2008, we will have doubled the number of
Border Patrol agents during my presidency.

We've deployed thousands of National Guard members to assist the Border
Patrol. We've upgraded technology at our borders. We've added
infrastructure, including new fencing and vehicle barriers. We're adding
thousands of new beds in our detention facilities so we can continue working
to end catch and release at our southern border. During the course of my
administration we have apprehended and sent home more 6 million people
entering our country illegally. And I thank the Border Patrol for their hard
work.

He won. Whatever he's done so far can't compare with what your Republican King (Reagan) did. Don't come off either with that pro GOP crap that Kennedy had something to do with it in order for you to deflect. Reagan was holding the bus tickets. At the time, he needed to appease the financial support he had received from big agri-business, which contributed significantly to his second term win.

We in the Border Patrol were making a significant impact in illegal alien apprehensions that didn't serve Reagan's political interests. These very agri-business supporters began to complain about our impact and how they were losing profits. From someone who experienced it and had the complete inside story, that's the way it happened.

The Border Patrol under any administration take orders and are basically a bunch of bureaucrat robot pee-ons with inconsequential authority. Most anti-illegal propagandists want to tag the Democrats as the culprits, without including that this is actually a two fold partisan problem, improperly influenced with a no results oriented attitude. Bottom line: dragging their butts is what they do best.

The irony is that Obama has actually cracked down more on criminal illegal aliens and deported them than any other president.

Here's my source on Democratic Senator (I can't swim) Kennedy.

I Senator (I can't swim) Kennedy promise President Reagan that:

"This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this."

-- Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy on the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986

And like most "Democrats" he lied!!

Obama Has Halved Spending on Border Fencing, Infrastructure,

Technology--Leaving 1,300 Miles of Mexico Border Unfenced

By Edwin Mora

November 28, 2011

( CNSNews.com )- The Obama administration has slashed spending on border fencing, infrastructure and technology, cutting it by more than half since
it peaked under President George W. Bush in fiscal 2008, according to a Government Accountability Office report.

In 2008, according to GAO, the federal government spent more than $1.3 billion on border security fencing, infrastructure and technology. In 2011,
it spend $573 million.Meanwhile, Customs and Border Protection has said that as of June it had
fenced only 649 miles of the nearly 1,954-mile-long U.S.-Mexico border--leaving more than 1,300 miles of that border unfenced.

Flashback 1954:

By John Dillin / July 6, 2006

WASHINGTON

George W. Bush isn't the first Republican president to face a full-blown
immigration crisis on the US-Mexican border.

Fifty-three years ago, when newly elected Dwight Eisenhower moved into the White House, America's southern frontier was as porous as a spaghetti sieve. As many as 3 million illegal migrants had walked and waded northward over a period of several years for jobs in California, Arizona, Texas, and points beyond.

President Eisenhower cut off this illegal traffic. He did it quickly and decisively with only 1,075 United States Border Patrol agents - less than one-tenth of today's force. The operation is still highly praised among veterans of the Border Patrol.

Ariz. Sheriff:

Feds Order Release of Illegals to Phony Up Numbers

Monday, 09 May 2011 02:59 PM

By Jim Meyers and Ashley Martella

The U.S. Border Patrol has told its agents to stop arresting illegal aliens crossing the border from Mexico to keep the illegal immigration numbers down, Arizona Sheriff Larry Dever tells Newsmax.

He also charges that Attorney General Eric Holder is “holding hands with the ACLU” to protect illegal aliens from prosecution, says illegals are committing “heinous crimes” across America every day, and calls claims that the federal government should be solely responsible for controlling illegal immigration “balderdash.”

Dever is sheriff of Cochise County, which shares an 83-mile border with Mexico, and he says his Border Patrol sector is responsible for half of all illegal aliens caught trying to enter the country and halt the narcotics entering the United States.

It has been pretty much established that Obama has NOT deported more, what they did was count every one they were deporting repeatidly...as in the same person deported a number of times, was being counted as an illegal deported like it was a different person.
