Poll: Majority Supports Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants

Nov 14, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: KVOR-AM Colorado Springs

Most Americans support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, an issue that may be high on the agenda of newly re-elected President Obama and the 113th Congress, given the increased importance of nonwhites -- including Hispanic voters -- in the nation's political equation.

We have always had a way. The illegals just fail to use it. For those who choose not to...why in the world "reward "them ?

Who are these Americans who Support a Path to Citizenship for Illegal aliens? I'am a democrat and i know of no one who supports this.
What American would support allowing anyone to just walk into the country and become a citizen? And why?
Why isn't this happening around the world? Because it's a lie. The media thinks if they write down it becomes the truth.
I have that same question. I voted for Obama, I am a life long Democrat and a liberal, and I don't support a amenity. The effect of the first amenity were disastrous.(Just look at the situation today.)

I would like to know how they came up with the "theory" that most American's agree with a path to citizenship. Where any of you polled on that question? I sure wasn't ever ask so they certainly can't say what most American's want if they never took a poll of ALL American's. BS from liberals.

This is precisely "the" only path to citizenship that we accept as legal for aliens.

Europeans you would be okay with that?

If your views on immigration are tainted by race I'm really not all that concerned with what you have to say.
How do you judge a Race Horse "Jack"??

By it's track record!

How are the Hispanics track record South of our border, you know where over half of the illegal aliens come from?

"Why do you think American Hispanics support amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens (wag) Jack?"

As far as the Hispanic US Citizens who are old enough and eligible to vote many do not support amnesty, maybe even most.

The idea that they do is just something the La Raza type groups put out there to make people think they all agree, vote they same and they have far more clout than they really do. It's just another deception from a desperate group of amnesty dreamers. Just another "illegal alienism".
How much of the Hispanic vote did B.O. get??

Remember B.O. was doing everything he could to keep the illegal aliens from being deported!

Obamas big Hispanic win worries GOP

The President got 71 percent of the Hispanic vote on Tuesday

By Nicholas Riccardi, Associated Press

That tells me that 71% of the Hispanics voters support amnesty for the Hispanic illegal aliens.

What does it tell you??

Then why and what are the Hispanic Americans basing their support on amnesty for the 12-20 million illegal aliens in our country, which over half are Hispanics?

Can Rand Paul lead GOP to compromise on immigration and marijuana?

http://www.ex aminercom/article/can-rand-pau l-lead-gop-to-compromise-on-im migration-and-marijuana

Does Rand Paul see the writting on the wall?
With compromise in the air, Rand Paul is trying to push immigration reform that he thinks ultra-conservative tea-party republicans will embrace.

Paul's plan accepts the fact that illegal immigrants currently in the country will be "assimilated" and eventually offered a path to citizenship, but he wants to tie that compromise to his plan to stop LEGAL immigration for the duration of the "assimilation process".

This compromise is not likely to gain nmuch support from either side of the political aisle due to the assault on legal immigration, but it serves as further proof that even very conservative politicians understand that there is going to be compromise and they are trying to stake out their positions now.
"undocumented immigrants" ??

Immigration and illegal immigration

"Immigration refers to the movement of people between countries. While the movement of people has existed throughout human history at various levels, modern immigration implies long-term, legal, permanent residence. Short-term visitors and tourists are considered non-immigrants (see expatriate).

Immigration across national borders in a way that violates the immigration laws of the destination country is termed illegal immigration."

"Illegal immigration refers to immigration across national borders in a way that violates the immigration laws of the destination country. Under this definition, an illegal immigrant is a foreigner who either has illegally crossed an international political border, be it by land, water, or air, or a foreigner who has entered a country legally but then overstays his/her
visa. "

The Obama Administration today announced a virtual amnesty-by-decree for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, whose deportations will be "indefinitely delayed". In addition, Obama finally announced a jobs program -

Obama wasn't re-elected strickly by those that even like the amnesty idea just like he wasn't re-elected on the free bc thing either. You can't pick one issue and say that is what in itself was the issue that put him over the top. Even you would know you were lying then. The fact is they can't say that a majority of American's like the idea based on Obama's election, that is crap and even you know it. It was different groups of people, women, blacks, whites, latino, those on welfare and foodstamps, all sorts of different people from different groups and not all due to the same issues either. So it is lying to say it was because they agreed with what Obama was doing with the amnesty crap.
